A/W hammer
Grungle
was wondering if an assassin warrior hammer build would be a good idea. Capitalizing on critical hits and such, as if i am not mistaken hammers and scythes are the way to go for crits. way of the master/ way of the assassin/ critical eye/ crit defenses are my ideas so far. what hammer skills should i use?
Coloneh
scythes and axes are the way to go for crits. hammers are slow.

Hammers are SLOWER, but FAR more powerful. They have a purpose too and can't be made to work just fine with any IAS skill.
Coloneh
yeah, it can work. but if your going to use a hammer why not use a scythe? higher criticals.
Epic Monkey Battle
hammers knockdown.... scythes do not

If it's for PvE, then go with a scythe instead of a hammer, the Ocasional AoE alone makes it worth it. If it's for PvP, shoot yourself int he head please.

Coloneh, what said made absolutely no sense at all, hammers are just as slow as scythes. For the rest, i agree with Stueyman.

yeah, but scythes have a higher crit damage and hit 3 foes. same reason for using axe sins over sword sins.

[skill=text]Staggering Blow[/skill] --> Fierce Blow looks to be a righteous combination.
Bring a self-heal and... [skill=text]Irresistible Blow[/skill]? If you don't want/need a heal, you could throw in [skill=text]Mighty Blow[/skill] for shits and giggles.
My issue with running hammers is that the adrenaline just takes too long to build up unless you're also being hit. But you're running Critical Defenses, so you're not planning on getting hit. Once you get the adrenaline built up, you should wreak some havoc.
But what the hell - give it a shot and see how it goes. The increased crit rate does make using all the other weapons seem interesting, doesn't it?
