Question about "The Accursed Path"

Hi all - forum newbie here.

I have been playing as a Warrior/Mesmer for some time, but recently created a Necromancer/Monk character, who is still in pre-searing Ascalon.

Trying to do "The Accursed Path" which requires you to go into the catacombs and kill 5 crypt fiends. I find the destination ok, but only 2 crypt fiends appear, and after I kill them the quest log still says I need to kill 5 more. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I have tried this three times now with the same result. Any help would be appreciated.

(Apologies if this has come up before, I searched but couldn't find an answer)

Hmm, not much I can say. Isn't so clear, so all I can say is... Just wander around until you see Crypt Fiends, or redo the quest, it's possibly a bug.

I have tried it a few times, I guess I will keep trying.

Is there anything else you want to know that might help?

hmm it says they come to you maybe they get stuck ?

i remember doing this quest ages ago and they all came albeit slowly maybe you didnt wait long enough ?

Ah maybe that's it. I have been doing the mission later on, and have been re-entering the catacombs, rather than finding the crypt fiends from Oberan's position. I will find him again, and try it that way.
