SS and LB title maxing time
Steboy93
Im thinking about going for KoaBD on my warrior, i already have prot of tyria and elona and am part way though factions so they will be my first 3.
I have heard that compared to other titles sunspear and lightbringer are relativly easy to max, so i have two questions:
1) How long roughly will it take to max ss and lb by doing a show of force HM in sulpherous wastes, i am already rank8 ss(7500) and rank4 lb(2500).
2) are there any less time consuming/easy titles to max than ss and lb.
Thanks in advance for your help, i look forward to hearing peoples views and opinions.

cartographer titles are pretty easy to do as well...you still quite a bit ways to go...roughly 1k~+/- on the SS/LB runs out of remains...it gets old REAL quick...skill hunter is also an easy title to do, just takes some cash to get it
bhavv
Protector titles, Skill hunter, cartogrophor and grind ones like SS + LB are the easyiest ones to get.
thezed
I would go for the Skill hunter titles. They are not hard and have the added advantage of being a lot of fun.
Croco Clouds
yep Skill Hunter is better than grind those SS/LB title, since searching boss makes u gain skill point. The problem is it's gonna cost u some buck for sig cap
Government Flu
Skill Hunter is expensive, but very easy to attain. Tyrian Skill hunter, however, becomes tedious and all too annoying with random boss spawns and then random boss no-shows.
That's the skill title I went for when I was getting Kind of a Big Deal. I'd recommend going for Canthan or Elonian skill hunter instead.
However, SS/LB is very easy to farm using the two quests in the desolation (the one where you use the rune of DOOM) and you'll actually get some gold drops and a few things you can sell to the merchant, creating a steady source of income.
It's a breeze farming those points in HM with wurms and is probably your best bet.
Happy hunting.

When i did my KoaBD it was Tyrian Skill finder that wanted to make me pull my hair out because of the random spawns. Elonian and Canthan werent that bad. As for the SS/LB they are indeed quite tedious.
As well the money is a big issue for Cap Sigs, but also be sure you have over 200 skill points open to start from as it takes alot of them too, i have 4mil experience on my current KoaBD and my biggest limitation was Skill Pts as I had to do things just to get them.

nah, you dont need 200 to start from...remember, you get 5k exp for capping, and surely you will gain exp by doing quests and missions to get them (if you chose to do so)
My Sweet Revenga
If I remember correctly, I was farming about 5-10k LB points per day. I was only playing about 2-3 hours per day at the time.....
SS points I farmed from starting gates of desolation instead. Was making 10k per day for sure cuz I actually kept track that time.

I'm thinking of the skill hunter titles since they SOUND like they'd have a more practical benefit in GW2.

But, to the OP, you figure 600 lb points per 20 minutes is about 1800 points per hour, if you have a good group. And you need 47,500 more points to max out LB, is probably about 24 hours of doing nothing but that Sulfurous Waste run.
Skill hunter may take more time than that depending on how many you already have, especially in Tyria, where as mentioned, there are random boss spawns and sometimes the random equals no boss spawn. Also, capping in the RoT can be a major pain, especially the Paragon, Ele, and Monk bosses.

to get max LB and SS it will take some time. im working on maxing 4 titles at the moment, SS/LB, seeker of wisdom, and treasure hunter all using the same run.
in the sulferous wastes and so far its about 4 days worth of work about 4 hours a day.

I've been doing the SS/LB run for two days straight with over 70 runs a day...
Maxed my SS and am at 35k LB's but then EotN was released.
Also you'd say man that's alot of time to put in but don't forget it's HM...
I've made around 230k on sheer gold drops.

I would say do the Farm for about an hour or two a day then go do something else, it will make it a little easier on you from having to just grind it out, unless you like that sort of thing.

I seriously doubt you did 70 runs a day for 2 reasons.
1) After doing a decent amount of runs my fastest time was 12 minutes.
70x12= 840 minutes = 14hours of just doing this run as fast as you can.
2) 1 run nets in a minimum of 600lb points.
70x600= 42k times that by 2 days = 84k. Yet you claim to only have 35k lb.
Though i can agree with you that this run is a good way to net money over time. However with the discovery of Elemental Swords in GWEN, you cannot get extremely lucky and make 100k in one run.
I have not tried the skill hunter titles but the ss/lb farm is very quick and you can get max on both in about 60-70 runs.

Just wondering anyone care to make a list of the easiest maxable titles with one being the easiest =D That would be uberly AWesome and I will love you.

*didn't read posts besides OP*
The Sahljala runs will max out your LB before your SS. When that happens, it's faster to do the run that starts from the Gate of Desolation. That's what I did. ^^
EDIT:
shadowwolf: Protector titles, then SS/LB, then skills, then cartography.
Unless you have 2 million to drop off for a lot of sweets.

Tyrian Cartographer is harder than Skill Hunter. Skill Hunter is relatively easy though frustrating since you know where you need to go, the only difference is that sometimes you have to do it over and over again to get the right spawns
I'm currently at 97.5% Tyrian Cartographer and I'm at my wit's end at finding the last 2.5%

The easiest title should probably be canthan protector since it's just 13 missions O_o. I'm at 15 out of 20 for my dervish elonian protector, that will probably end up being my first title max. I am at 70 or something also for elonian cartographer, i'll probably kill myself before i reach 100 for that... theres so much ground to cover x.x

A lot of the titles are easy to do, they just take up a load of your time and cost you a hell of a lot of gold. I personally wouldn't even bother really classing the Wisdom or Treasure Hunter titles as something to try and max unless you love chest running.
Prots as simple
LB and SS just takes time
Skill Hunters are easy, just expensive
Cartographers will get easier the more you do, although the last 0.1% can be a pain
Drunkard and Sweet tooth are again easy to just, will just cost you an arm and a leg.
Wisdom and Treasure Hunter although simple are very long, and expensive
Vanquishing is good fun, a challange and earns you quiet a bit of cash (and faction if you do it in your alliance territory in factions)
Guardian is the same as Vanquishing, but if your doing them you should expect to get extremely fustrated at certain mission.

Skills hunters in anywhere but tyria are definately one of the easiest, and simplest to attain. But, as mentioned, cost you a lot of gold.
On topic:
I maxed ss fairly easy with that run, and im not far from maxing LB. Its good for exp, gold and chests. So, in one run, you get gold to buy things for titles (tomes, sweets, booze, unid golds, keys/lockpicks etc), exp to get skill points, gold drops for wisdom title, chests for treasure hunter (and lucky/unlucky, as you are using lockpicks) and of course sunspear and lightbringer points.
Even if it is a bit of a grind, i think its more than worth it.

For all Carthographers.. Please!
It is one of the easiest titles to get. Just use the Texmod Easy to Carthography mod --> http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guide..._modifications
And use it.. Should be easy to do all three Campains in one week!

My point of view, having maxxed 9 titles to date.
LB/SS is probably the easiest, but boring. Got to the point where I was chatting and answering questions in guild chat while doing it. A great place to level up your heroes/pets if they need it.
Skill Hunter is fun, but expensive but you may end up grinding to get more skill points. I see it as the most useful because it unlocks all the elites for use with all your heroes on that account. Also, if you get it on all three chapters you get a fourth title ..... Legendary Skill Hunter.
Protector titles can be a little work. Prophecies and Nightfall aren't too bad, but all those timed missions in Factions can be a real pain.
Good luck!
