I'm debating on whether or not I'd like to do it, as I have a plethora of minis. I'm afraid they may end up changing it in the long run so I'm trying to hold off. I really wish I could display them without customizing it but at the same time I see the problem that would arise if everyone could take a mini and display it across different accounts.

the only thing I'm doing in HoM is putting up the tapestries. I'm not putting in any titles, heroes, pets, armors, etc. Nothing. I know they've totally blown it and may completely change their minds on things, possibly making any irreversible decisions (such as customizing pets) big mistakes.

Nope. The moment i unlocked the monument i shoved a mini on it. I am currently buying more minis for the sheer purpose of displaying them there. I do this because:
1: I know for certain wich one of my characters i like most and wich i put the most effort in. This character will get the minis to display.
2: Because while minis are fun i find i like having one, but i hardly ever realy let it out. The HoM is a much better way to display my minis then having them stuffed in my backpack to never be used.

all my charactors get 1 mini to keep. they are usually my most high end ones so I can show em off. other then that, I put most of my more common ones in the hall for my main charactor. If they are white, pig or collector edition minis in the hall. the others will go in after a while prob just before GW 2 comes out.

I figured my elementalist is my main, I have more fun on it and I play it more often than any other class I've ever played collectively. So I figured I'd decorate the halls with every mini pet I had too. I mean it's not like the bonuses in GW2 will be ground breakingly amazing.

I put 1 in to test (a second temple guardian I had) and as soon as they introduce the new mechanics, I will be putting my whole collection in there

I put two in my hall, because I didn't pay enough attention to notice that the pet was customized the first time I put one in. I am waiting to add the rest of them because I constantly swap minis among my characters. Right now I have 15 characters and 30 minis.

Meh, it's not like people actually need the monument to display their minis.
Just go in there with them in your inventory. When people ask just show them the old fashioned way.

I put my mini pets on my main character (that my GW2 character will inherit from) into the HoM. I'm hesitant to put my other 7 mini pets on display with them since I wouldn't be able to bring them out with the characters they "belong" to.

I put just my moa bird in, which at the moment is the only mini i have that i intent on keeping. But untill we know which minis are needed to unlock some special item within gw2 i wont put any others in just yet.

I'm the type to have my minis spread around all my chars, though my favorites are on my necromancer; and yet I'm not planning on customizing any at the moment. I do the same with my weapons, since I switch them from character to character once I think something suits another character better than one, and sell what I don't like.
So aside from armor and titles, I haven't used my HoM.

They need to add a Mini-pet trader.
He sells based on supply, but the price would be based on prices listed in the price check forums. You can give him customized minis, and when you buy them they won't be customized. This would keep them on the market, and keep people from just giving them away to friends once they have it in their HoM. And of course the people who collect them just to collect them would have them either way, so wouldn't bother them.

Yup. I'm not adding a single miniature until they fix it.
I only add titles, achievements and companions.
I'm also waiting for any way to store armor. Because I have no way to store all the armor sets for my characters and I'm not making them only to discard them.

since I still have 3 pigs and 4 rot wallows I felt that including at least one of each of them on one toon wouldnt hurt.....since I still have a bunch of each left! (just got my second heket so he may go in there as well

I see no reason to have them on display there, hence I am keeping them all in storage so that ALL of my characters can use them. Also, if I'm really desperate, they're an investment on my part. A relatively easy 10k for bad times.

You just deleted them oops.
All mine (4 lol ) are there including my Kunny never use it never want to sell it so stuck em all there

If they want to give us the option to have them customized then thats fine with me. However I think they should add an NPC similar to the one for the festival hats. This will allow people, like myself, who collect the miniatures to add them to their hall of monuments and still be able to use them on other characters by getting them from the NPC.
They can add code which doesn't allow us to use them on more than one HoM for all I care. I only have one characters HoM I want to add them to, but I want the ability to say, "Hey, you want help? Let me grab my Miniature _________ for the hell of it, it seems appropriate for that mission."

I put my moa in the day I got it. And it's the only one there. And it's staying that way. Why? Because I actually worked for that one..it was something I could say I accomplished and I'm proud of. Getting a random mini in my inventory every 12 months isn't an accomplishment. It's a waiting game. I didn't work for it...sure I had that character for 12 months but who cares?
I sold all but one mini, that last is a temple guardian which I haven't gotten around to selling yet, but will probably go soon. And I sold them for half of market price. Sure, that buyer probably turned around and resold them, but who cares? Not I.

My main character's minis are in there ( a Kuunavang and a Burning Titan). I'm not bothered about them being customised as they both stay on her and always will.
My other pets I'll not bother adding until we have more info on how they will be translated as 'unlocked unique items' or whatever it is that we'll get in GW2.

I have one purple mini, and the rest are white. I very rarely let them out and they just take up storage slots. My opinion: they are a waste; they don't do anything to enhance game play; just another thing ANet added to take up storage space. I put the tapestry up but won't be putting anything in there anytime soon. Maybe, if I get bored, I'll get the mini moa and put it in.
