This Farming Build Still Possible?

Hey, I was just wondering if this build is still possible or griffon farming at all.

I used to play a while ago and it worked great, but someone said a new patch made it so you can't do it. True?

no, a long time ago scarabs took over that part of the desert and they kill all the griffons 1st.

foes will also run from Balthazar's Aura and Zealots fire ( if spammed to much)
