Best Upgrades for Thunderfist's Brass Knuckles?

Does anyone know what the most useful upgrades for those knuckles are when you want to do the dwarven boxing quests?
Do elemental damage upgrades have any effect? Did anyone try Vampiric or Sundering Upgrades?
A furious upgrade (double adrenaline 10%) is maybe the best option but coming to inscriptions I tried a 15% -5 Inscription and it doesnt seem to affect energy (u want to have low energy to quickly recover from knockdown). I dont even know if inscriptions affect damage at all.
Fortitude Upgrades (+30 health) dont have any effect on health. Maybe +5 armor works? Or +7 armor vs. physical dmg?

No upgrades affect the actual boxing part, they just help if you decide to use them as actual weapons (daggers in fact) in the rest of the game.

Knucles 5-5: Skill #2 deals 10 damage.
Normal attacks always deal 0 damage.
Dagger mastery 12.
Knuckles 7-17 Skill #2 deals 15...22 damage.
Normal attacks sometimes deal 1..2 damage. Yet most of the time still 0.
The best upgrades I can think for the Brawling quests and dungeon are:
- Inscription:
*"Brawn over Brains" +15%dmg, -5energy. Because energy is fixed and you don't need it here.
- Dagger Tang:
* Furious Double Adrenaline on hit (Chance: 10%)
* Sundering Armor penetration +20% (Chance: 20%)
-Dagger Handle
*of Defense Armor +5
*of Fortitude Health +30
That are basically the same you stated.
Elementals will increase the damage you deal to Warriors, but decrease the damage dealt to rangers. So they may be a good choice until you get a better, since rangers have low health in the dungeon.
Armor may be better than health, since you will take a lot of hits, spread, the health saved with the armor will be higher.

Fortitude mod has no effect in Boxing. I'm not sure about armor +5, or Furious. Damage +15/-5 will not lower your energy.

if higher dagger mastery helps, then it would default to dagger mastery +1, or + vs dwarfs or whatever

what ever char i use them on.. i bring my dagger mastery up to the req9! keep in mind guys.. you need to meet the req on the daggers/knuckles to get the full dmg range from it. ...And yes, you do get increased dmg in the boxing arenas. The Furious tangs, as far as i can tell.. does make your adrenal skills usable quicker.. but only marginally.

I always use vampiric and you see the extra 3 life steal flash up at every hit, and you get the degen.

15/-5e - i was hoping that -5e would work (easier stand up), but its still best upgrade.
+5 armor - since hp does not work. Once could use +7 vs physical too, but you never know if foes spawn holding elemental weapon.
Also, you should put dagger mastery to 12, not just meet req.
Finally reason for furious dagger upgrades existance.

Suggestion:
Boxing is not too hard. Your best bet is Furious there, but I would not gimp a dagger just for the boxring.
Use a generic 15^50, Zealous +30 HP setup - and give it to your hero Anton. Two problems solved.
