Show weapon colors when you ping weapon you have equiped?

It would be nice if when you pinged your weapons it would actually show the name of the weapon in its color. (Gold, Purple, Green)

For example, now when you ping it would say "I'm wielding Weapon!" all in white text, regardless of what color the weapon is. But it would be nice if for example you had a unique Green, that when you pinged it, its name would be green similar to how when you drop and pick it up off the ground.

Just seems like it would be nice.

Why? I don't care whether your weapon is blue, white, gold or green. I'd rather not even see morons spamming "I'm wielding a something of something-or-other" - if I want to know, I'll ask. And you can type it back. And if you really need to you can say "It's gold!!!!!!", just to get it out there, in case anybody gives a crap.

Hey. It's good. Gold weapons are rare, so they should be more valuable. Since most skins can come in all rarity levels. his would be a way to probe rarity without having to use the 'trade' feature.

So this would make rare drops a bit more valuable.

Now here's a situation that would piss people off. Let's say you have the particular green for the boss you're team is farming, and after killing the boss for the tenth time with no drop, you decide to ping your weapon set 3 times to make them thing it was a jackpot.

um considering the ping will show up in team chat and the colors are in no way similar your tea would have to be dumb as hell to think it was a drop.......

not signed, absolutely no need. There's no difference between a white/purple or gold max dmg other than the colour. it just seems like a way for people to needlessly show off. I personally dont care what other people carry when i pug, as long as its max dmg and does the job required

at least this way, when you have stupid a$$ hats in the middle of a mission asking, "Oooo! What are the mods on that gold?", they could just ping it instead of going back and forth, turning the mission into f'in trade chat. ADHD pricks. It would at least cut down on the rage.

Of course, if I'm in a PUG and that shit happens, I usually just leave. Honestly, wait to trade chat/pull out your e-peen until after the mission. The mods that matter to the mission have nothing to do with weapon color.

Oh, and elite greens, if you aren't an idiot, you can tell from the name. If it's [Name]'s sword, or The Whatever(Elswyth's recurve, The Quiverer), it's a green.

Blue items can have the same stat's as Green items, i don't want people to go "omfg nub u use blue lol go way"
It would just be a sad way to brag "Lawl look at me i have full green's"
If you have a rare item people will see them since your holding it, no need to ping colours.
