new Xunlai Tournament predictions: I have no clue
VitisVinifera
Looked around, couldn't find a thread. The Xunlai Tournament House this time is taking two predictions: 1v1 (would this be hero battles?) and GvG predictions.
Since, like many others, I have zero interest in PvP, and have no idea who are good bets, would anyone mind just saying who the favorites are, so I can rack up a few points and trade them in for whatever the prize(s) are?
Aside from that, I see that predictions earn you Tournament Reward Points, and it's stated that an in-game NPC trader is how you redeem them. But I can't see what you actually redeem them in for. Anyone know?
Thanks for the help, I'm sure many others are in the same position.

Don't know much either, but I do know X Ekelon X wins like every 1v1 tournament. He's won... like the past 3 ones? Make sure you get him in #1
Teh [prefession]-zorz
Ekelon if hes ontop of his game, GvG im going to have to get it to vD they are a bunch of tuff cookies xD
VitisVinifera
I see Ekelon and vD are both listed first.......perhaps the listings are already ordered, and it's best just to leave them as is.......I didn't know if they were in some random order....
so......leave them as is?
so......leave them as is?

For 1v1 definitely X Ekelon X as 1st, he's won everything so far, and he's really at the top of his game. I would be shocked to see him lose.
Operative 14
Yeah, I'm with the OP. I would like to participate in the Xunali Tournament events, just that I don't know who to pick.
Thanks guys for giving your comments.

My most pertinent question is, why tournament reward points? No use for them, so I won't even bother dragging some names around completely at random, like I did at earlier tournaments.
As far as I can tell from the wiki, these points can give you PvP skin unlocks or Golden Flames of Balthazar (3,000 faction per pop). Meh.

Guilds that should do the best, in no particular order;
Merchants of Justice
Virtual Dragons
Delta Formation
No Observable Talent
Other Guilds that will probably do pretty well;
Ascalon Rehab Clinic
Rebel Rising
Peace and Harmony
Error Seven Operators
The Benecia Renovatio
Peanut Butter Toasts

For 1v1 I just put them pretty much in order of win/loss ratio. So Ekelon, Cs Element, Piccolo Il and Jamesb R in the top 4.

If you're looking for the current best players then you'd be looking at:
X Ekelon X -> Won 3 times in a row...
I Adzik I -> Although his second he hasn't been playing much which means he might not be at the top of his game.
Depeche Luvez A Mp -> Depeche grinds the ladder with dual recall and does pretty well but doesn't do enough tournaments... he went 1/3 in the last monthly tournament (complained about lag) but is a slightly better player.
Sauron the greatest (Noruas The Tsetaerg) - Is a very good player but runs spirit spam which can hurt you in tournaments. I still think he has a great chance at top 8.
Cucking Frazy - One of the most improved players since the last monthly. Definitely a high chance of top 8.
Beastin Shen - A wild card, when he is at the top of his game he is a force to be reckoned with (only lost by 1 point to Adzik in the last monthly) but has his ups and downs.
Glyph of Chaos - A player who is able to sustain a high rank and do a lot of tournaments. This usually means a good player.
Other honorable mentions would be:
I Fretty I, Jamie The Wanderer, Y U E S I N, I Snype I (if he competes), Vi Guilla Vi and Jamesb_R (myself - if I can play well again at 4am in the morning)

When the seeding numbers come in, just place the final results equal to the initial seeding. You would have gotten at least 2 right in every prior Xunlai House Prediction had you done it this way.
