Now that there are [Consumables] NPCs in the game, how about adding a few more in the game. Specifically potions temporary changing your appearance. Theese would only work in PVE and last for a limited time, Some examples:

- Tengu, Asura, Norn disguise potions.
- Profession potions, making you look like a Warrior, Elementalist etc.
- Mystic Potions. Random effect, from common disguse to rare or even ultra rare looks. Maybe 1 in a 1000 would make you appear as a dragon Not only disguise, they could do negative/positive effects much like fortune cookies did.

They shouldn't be too expensive, perhaps 300-500g each. But people would use them and thereby adding another money sink in game. This is especially important now that it's been more easy to make gold in game doing dungeons etc.

It would be REALLY cool a consumable/random drop/event item/whatever item that allow to 'store' the essence of a killed boss into a potion:

- Buy/Get/Acquire/Find the item.
- Go find a boss of the race you want to disguise.
- Kill the boss.
- Use the item.
- The items become a potion of the race of the boss.

Use the potion in outposts, town and explorables to disguise. (No PvP)

Good thinking, to make a disguise potion should definitely require an essence of some kind from that race.

Centaur Manes, Charr Carvings, Gargoyle Skulls, Grawl Necklaces, Griffon Wings etc.

weeeell /signed first of all and second of all if you do mithrans idea, you could make 1k versions that are endless and do mithrans idea, and yours would just be the reg ones you can buy, just like normal and elite skills ^^, and it would be cool if monsters dropped their potions every once and a while.

I want the Corsair disguise from Nightfall as a usable skill. That was one of my favourite disguises.

And Mini potions :P Drinking it would temporary shrink you to the size of a minipet :P

I can't see why not - I certainly wouldn't use something like this, but some people would and money sinks are rarely a bad thing.

I see no way in which this would be a bad thing.

The addition of disguising may really throw running out of whack, though. Plus things like your henchies fighting the enemy whilst you stand there disguised as the enemy may lead to problems.

Even if the potion is just aesthetic, still a great idea.
