I just want to know what are the pros, cons, and which is the better choice in processor.
Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD 64 Dual Core?
Processors, which to choose?

Check the benchmarks on various hardware sites, that will give you a good idea of what to get. Last time i checked intel's processors performed better than AMD's processors so i'd say to go with the core duo.

I'd personally wait.
AMD just released new offerings and the price war is gonna heat up.
But if you have to have it now, then Core 2 Duo would be the best bet at the moment.(and this is coming from an AMD guy)

AMD are better for gaming pc's than Intel on every occasion than this. The Core 2 Duo is better than the best AMD at the moment. However like the previous poster said, it'd be wise to wait a little longer and maybe research the new release dates for new possessors.

Very simple, depends on budget.
Amd prices there's to be completive to the Intel equivalent. That being said, once you hit a certain price "level" amd does NOT have a chip that can compete with the Intel version.
I would go with Intel Duo Core 2, the 6xxx series or higher. I also love AMD.. but the 6xxx and higer intel chips are priced nicely and beat amd's best offering.

Go with the Intel Core2 Duo
Unless AMD's new processor comes in more powerful then Intel's current and at an affordable price, AMD might not be around much longer.
Unfortunatly AMD is so in-dept since a while now because of many factors and alot of things hinge on the release of their new processor.
