My "nightmare at <Arborstone>" - yours?
free_fall
We've all had them, I'm sure - something that should be challenging enough on its own that turns into an absolute nightmare. Here's my latest:
I'm attempting to solo (meaning myself, heroes and hench) Arborstone with my going-for-2nd-rank-Survivor rit. I always go around rather than through (the side with the kirins), everthing's going smooth, we get to the end, kill the Judge (I know, he should be last but that's just how it worked out) and all the other enemies run and bunch up at the door. I think "oh crap, now Danika's going to run straight into them to try to open the door, now that the judge is dead".
So, I look around and realize that Danika's not with us! Stuck somewhere along the way, obviously. We proceed to kill everything and I think "cool, we'll go collect her and it'll be smooth sailing now that everything's dead".
EHHHHH, wrong!
Turns out she was hung up right where the urn was ensconced. Once I get close enough, she starts moving, no problem there - only, instead of following us back around the outside, she proceeds to run into/through the cathedral, and not just around the (our) left-hand side (which is how I'd go if I did go thru) but the right-hand side, obviously following the shortest route to her ritual at the door, and barely allowing us to mop up one mob before rushing into the next. Almost lost her at one point.
Well, everything worked out in the end - completed the mission without dying, and it only took 49 minutes. I guess to make up for it, the game let me breeze through Boreas in 11m01s.
Anyone else have a scary story to share?

Curse You
Doing Sunjiang District 10 times in a row, each time having to watch the end cinematic. I still have nightmares about Master Togo's magic changing accent.
Government Flu
For some reason I still dread Gyala Hatchery even though I mastered it again with my assassin, finally allowing him to wear the Protector of Cantha title. I guess I just have bad memories from previous experiences.
MithranArkanere
I hated and hated Dzanogur Bastion....
...until I found out that you need 5/6 of the defenses to get masters.
Now I only hate Eternal Grove, since it is the only one that forces me to PUG.

ive actually experienced the same as u free fall, but i was with friends, she did the same thing
Darkobra
Vizunah. I tried again and again to get Masters on it. I kill them all in 3 minutes, Mhenlo runs through the door, Togo SITS THERE AND DOES NOTHING! So while Mhenlo's running ahead and fighting everything alongside us, we spend 15-20 minutes waiting for Togo to MOVE PAST THE FIRST PART! So yeah. Togo alone, not fighting enemies, not an enemy in sight and just sitting there, staring at the bright blue sky, is the only reason I can't get Masters.

When you're attempting to get Legendary Survivor the hard way, every time you step outside is a goddamn nightmare. And then you get stupid and cocky, resulting in a new level 1 Ele.

Seems the times I PUG I've got nothing but troubles - my most recent one would be Gate of Madness. A guildie asked for help and even though I already hate the mission, I went to help him, but he was in a PUG. We tried with the team, which wasn't good at all - when your tank is wearing a demon mask, refuses to switch to one with armor and when this tank, along with the nukers, love to rush around not listening to anyone... your team fails at the first 2 mobs. We go back in, realize that they DO have team chat on, so thinking that they would finally listen, but nope. Fail at same spot. We go back in, get a new team.
Next team - human dervish, 2 nukers, 2 necros (SV and SS) + heroes. We go in, people are generally careful about aggro, but we still manage an over aggro - we go back in, kick the problematic nuker, and head back.
This time the team manages fairly well, but our heroes are unable to kite, and neither are the real players. Doing masters make this faster, but we realized we didn't have anything that can blind him as not to die while getting the shrines, and we attempt to do finish him ASAP.
And THEN the people started kiting. The problem is, for SV and SS to work, Shiro has to attack. With no one standing in place (the dervish, our only tank got killed in one hit WITH PS on...) Shiro would only try to attack, then use his skills, and would wipe 5/8 of the team. Make him lose aggro, res the people+heroes, flagging them back... we partial wiped like this maybe 6 or 7 times. By the time SV+SS finally killed him, we were 2 alive, and that's how we finished the mission...
... After 2 hours +, not counting our precedent attempts.
Am I going to do this again? Not until I have to or with more alliance members.

i was doing arborstone on hardmode for the guardian title, and in HM the time limit for masters is 30:00, and i finished in 30:04 so i had to redo like 3 more times to finally beat it again and get under 30

Beating the mission Sunjiang district 9 times so at the very end that darn Assasin's Construct could spawn so I could cap him. I was like the hermit of Sunjiang doing PUGS every hour.
Stolen Souls
Gotta agree on Arborstone. Exact same thing happened to me. Fought my way all the way through only to realize Danika decided to take a nap waaaaay back. I always fear bringing a survivor through that mission, because it's really unpredictable for me.
free_fall
The big fear for me on Survivors is Vizunah. On this same rit, I waited and did it around 4 a.m., when I could be sure I'd have all hench on the other team. Mhenlo died during the 3rd big fight on the 1st try so I ended up having to do it twice but, all in all, it went pretty smooth.

Mine has got to be the four times I finished Vizunah Square 4, 5, 2, and 6 seconds over the masters time limit... four damn times.
Steboy93
Mine must be doing Gate of Madness over and over again going for masters...
After about 10 tries i just got a run for 8k, i was sick of noob PUGS who either had no idea about the mission whilst claiming that they did before the mission, and people who said yes we were going for masters, then right before Shiro and Lich started yellin we were'nt doing masters..I almost lost my faith in humanity during that mission.

Normal mode Arborstone is pretty easy imo, i always pugged it whit few heroes and only hard part is at the end. B4 that is pretty simple if u dont have leeroy wammos whit u.
And about my nightmare...Eternal Grove, my god i hate that mission so much, especially when the afflicted morons start to roll over.

My personal nightmare is Eternal Grove as well. It's not so bad if you can get into a decent PUG, but that place is usually dead in my experience.
