"THe 2 Enchant spells Balthazars spirit * The other 1"

How come he gets max Energy all the Time whene the dmg he takes is 0.
ANd the spell says He needs 2 take dmg in order 2 get mana per hit.

Can someone tell me how this works.

P.S:Sorry for this noobish Tread but i realy wanted 2 know.

Mechanically, you are still taking damage, it's just not hurting you. If you really wanted to get down to it, no, you are not really taking damage, but the game doesn't know any better.

That is what Balthazar Spirit does give you energy or edrenaline when being attacked. That is a farming build btw we don't use B.S. in normal Monking.

Balthazar's Spirit gives 1 energy and a variable amount of adrenaline points whenever the enchanted person is hit, regardless of the amount of damage. Damage reduced to 0 is still considered a hit. Protective Spirit (PS) reduces the damage received to 10% of the enchanted person's hit points, for example: 55hp * 10% (damage reduced amount of PS) = 5.5 which is rounded down to 5. Shield of Absorption (SoA) reduces damage received by 5, thus 5 (damage received) - 5 (damage negated by SoA) = 0.

This is a spell that is really only used by monks when using a solo build or as a bonder, although there is probably some smiter out there that would argue they use it. With solo builds the use is obvious, as you are being directly attacked. With bonding, since you are redirecting a portion of the damage incurred by another party member to yourself, you may as well receive energy to offset the costs of maintaining the enchantments.

Cheers,
TB
