It took me nearly a week of spamming in Doomlore Shrine for Golden Rin Relics
and a lot more money than I wanted to spend but I finally got my mask last
night! It is dyable and currently have a black/red mix which I think best
matches my armor and gauntlet combination.

This mask definitely isn't for everyone but I thought it best matched my class
and armor. It really makes me look like a Witch Doctor if you ask me! lol

So if you see someone spamming the /boo emote over and over again in town
you're probably suffering from my dread-mask-pride!

No matter. I guess congrats on wasting an assload of time and money on something Anet will prolly just increase the drop rate for to the level it should have been at to begin with or just lower the required amount down the road...

1) The screenshot wasn't posted in the "screenshot section" because I'm not a guru-a-holic and I didn't know such a thing existed. From now on I'll check first. Oh, wait... is there a smart alec reply sectiion? Zeig Heil!
2) The Dread Mask isn't for everyone. Neither are the Ninja Mask or Blindfold. To each their own.
3) And no, my credit card has only paid for extra character slots and preview weekends. I earned my gold the old fashioned way... farming it in a cyber world.

Looks like I will add the mask to my list, to be accomplished when it gets fixed - namely when drop rates seem to improve a little! So for now, like Zho's book that I can't seem to get in all this time (and won't now that I decided to boycott the Norn Arena because of the 100 gold entry fee), I will just have to hope ANet makes the proper change to match my need.

I have to say, congrats. You were one of two main buyers that I saw regularly, and it looks like you managed to nab a precious set of 25 first, so kudos to you for getting that ridiculously expensive, yet nice looking, mask. I can only hope the price of Rin Relics doesn't go even higher.

she also have the destroyer gauntlet!! dude 250 core in wtf!! wow im only have in 25 and spend 24/7 in that darn mission farming...well im also get my money from the old fashioned way but i dont have one fow+destroyer gauntlet+dead mask+ i suppose chaos gauntlet you have too, + torment weapon and all thouse thing im sure you have!!

I did a lot of DoA 4-runs back when titans were 100k each which would net 500k in guaranteed gems from chests alone not to mention random drops. Once titans dropped below 100k I lost interest. I made a bundle from DoA while it lasted, at least 1M a week. Plus, I use to do TONS of 2-man UW. It isn't hard to make money in GW if you have a good guild or crew of players to farm with.

Someone asked earlier how much I spent on this mask. Well... when I first started looking for relics I was able to buy them for 500g each. However, as I spammed in town more people started asking me what rin relics were and what are they used for. Well, I gleefully educated anyone who might ask in the hopes they would sell me anything they should find. Unfortunately others decided they wanted the mask and began bidding against me. Since the availability of relics was so sparse I had to beat all those that opposed me by raising my bid until they left the zone. Because of this bidding war I had to buy a few relics for 10k+. Most I bought for 5k. At the end I was buying for 5k+1ecto. I don't know how much I spent total but if I had to guess I'd say it was at least 150k.

150k seems (oddly enough) quite 'reasonable' considering how much the destroyer gauntlets can be, and especially so in comparison to the Chaos Gloves. It's 6k per relic, which is pretty good going. That's what I'm aiming for really.

perhaps is luck?? What you don't realize is that many of us have been in obsidian armor for two years. The 15k crowd has armor every addition, but this is the 1st expansion/campaign where people with fow armor can spend to get some accessories, imagine pushing your toon though a game for two years with nothing to buy and thats where we have been stuck at, just playing and gold stacking with nothing to buy. Your accusations smack of jealousy and are unfounded.
