Can't Hatch Moa egg

Has anyone else had problem with getting the Black Moa Chick Minipet?? Or am I doing something wrong.
I gathered all the items stood in fire also had liquid metal poured on me but neither one worked. I have tried 3 different times.
Any help would be appreciated.

You have to go to Sorrow's Furnace, take the Final Assault quest, and let yourself get hit by the Sorrow's Flame in the central furnace.

sorrows flame is the attack that the big iron golem thing uses in the furnace during the final assault mission. if you kill the binding things, then he should attack you with it and hopefully you get hit.

Did you put all the items in the incubator?

You don't need to be attacked, just stand under where the lava gets pored out. As Kane stated above, make sure you have all things in the incubator and be patient. Mine didn't hatch on the first dump.

It's hard to see after you do have the baby, just look to see if the incubator is gone. Oh, and make sure you have room in your inventory.

thanks all I didn't have nesting material in I thought I did it is only one hard to tell others show up good.
