Fendi's Chest quick question

even when u h/h a dungeon are you pretty much guaranteed a drop from the end chest? finally finished that damn fendi and his chest didnt drop anything!

The whole paty gets a drop each .. so yeh, u do.

A common mistake I have when opening the chest is when I get a green item. Sometimes I don't recognize it right away because the heroes/henchies names are green also. Maybe you made that mistake too

ah nah had 60%dp and the h/h died from the flame when i rushed to the chest so no one was around and nothing came out of the chest, oh well prolly not worth it anyways

You could also have done what I've done multiple times in the past, especially in the ooze pit, is you kill the boss and hit spacebar right away and accidently open the chest and have already picked it up while your fighting the oozes the prismatic spawns. Really sucks since the timer starts when you open the chest, and if your parties wiped out the respawn timer overides the dungeon timer.

did you run all the way back and enter the door by the start of the level. After you recieved the dungeun key? I think you need to kill the boss guy there as well to update the quest.

I've had a locked chest drop nothing when I was soloing once. It sucks.

Like hell you did. If you open a locked chest it drops something.

You got a green, you didn't see it. Thats all there is to it. The chests always drop something for YOU.

The chest only gave me a Diamond yesterday.

One person in the PuG got his Staff.... and the rest of 'em got Golds..... but I was the only bloody one who got stuck with a Diamond.
And just what the hell am I supposed to do with that? The only things that use Diamonds are Destroyer Weapons.... all of which cost a ton and most of which look ugly as butt.

Not wanting to be too cynical, but you could have easily opened the chest, taken the quest reward, and then spammed "I'm using a Fendi's Chest" to make sure the chest drop went off the chat screen. Your screenshot proves nothing.

well when u finish off a boss doesnt the quest update? and as you can see it just updated there and the scroller isnt scrolled for the "chest drop" message to be off screen, besides i have nothing to gain to bs you people, not like im askin them to compensate me, just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else

This happened to me once also. I had to hit the "alt" or "ctrl" key to see the item in order to pick it up.

Chests always drop items. Just use your keys if it doesnt readily show up.

You can sell the diamond for a lot more then you can sell gold items for as a rule unless you get REALLY lucky.

It's not that I don't believe you, but actually the screenshot shows the "Quest Reward Accepted"...not "Quest Updated". You can open the chest before you accept the reward. Just a small technicality

I'm not saying you're lying...I'm just pointing that out.

ah ya that slipped my mind that you can open before accepting guess that photo does prove nothing, but still i really got nothing out of that chest, just sucked cuz considering how long it took to kill fendi heh
