Just want to say CONGRATS to the top guilds destined to competed in the play-off!

(of course, I'd be cheering the American teams, but congrats to all, nevertheless!)

A tiny side-tip to those who might end up visiting Taipei (I've spent a few years there) for the championship (yes I know it's a ways off, but...):

If you were ever interested in Chinese culture, this is the place to visit. Over500+ years of treasures accumulated by the Yuan, Ming, and Ching dynasties are there (no, it's not in mainland China).

When the Nationalist Party (Kumingtang) retreated from mainland China to Taiwan, they took most of the imperial treasures from the Forbidden City to Taipei. So, if you visit the Forbidden City in Beijing today, you'll find the buildings, but the actual valuables are in Taiwan...

I'm confused; what about the teams that have like 3 or 4 smurfs in the top 12 of their region? Do they like...clone themselves to go to Taipei?

Smurfs are disqualified. Since qualifying players cannot leave their guilds and rejoin (except on the one day grace period), they can't use their smurfs.

congrats, too bad i only have 5 ppl in my guild. should play with henchies just because i'm bored =P

But Aria, most top smurfs are players' second accounts, so no switching goes on. But I guess they'll be disqualified and the next highest guild be let in?
