First time I have seen something potentially this useful at such a low req.

Item is a Protective Icon
Inscriptable and gold
The negative is it is non-max (ie 11 energy instead of 12)
The positive is that it is req 6.

Given that it could host a 20/20 set-up, I could imagine some mixed builds (heal / prot or a smite / prot) where it could be useful to have recharge on prot as well as the primary attribute of your wand.

I am expecting that the feedback will most likley be that it is useless trash, because it would fit only non-stadard niche builds. Think I might set it up with a spare forget me not and attitude core on a smite / prot hero and test it out in Orr dungeon.

So trash or useful trinket of value?

What makes it worthless in the market is the non-max energy. If it would be some utterly rare off-hand skin & non-inscribable then it might hold some value.

Keep it to yourself / Give to hero / Merch it I'm afraid.

Agreed. R6 non-max items out there are actually relatively common.
