Question : Elite Tomes in Old Ascalon?

Does Elite Tomes drop from Old Ascalon HM bosses
like Flint Touchstone and Cobble Poundstone?

I killed them a lot of time and never saw one dropped.

Elite Tomes / Tomes / Lock picks are HM monster drops (any, not just elite mobs).

That being said, doing 40 ish HM SS/LB farming runs in Nightfall has given me 1 elite tome and 4 normal tomes and 3-5 lock picks.

So, theorically they could drop Elite Tome but the drop
rate isn't high. *sigh*

Yep, If you own nightfall, may want to give this HM faming method a try.
advances LB / SS points nicely, great drops, and tons of xp.

And since your doing the run in Wurm form, don't need to worry about party syngery or skill builds.

Yes. Definately. I have PERSONALLY gotten an elite tomb from Old Ascalon HM bosses, as well as seen a FoW/UW scroll drop. Drop rates of tombs though, like greens, are quite low.

Why do people keep doing that? It's a TOME.

Yeah, I've gotten elite tomes from Flint and Cobble myself. Fairly rare, though.

My bad. I usually get pretty mad at that stuff too and spell it right as tomes. Oh well, must have been fairly out of it when I wrote that.

That bugs me too, glad I'm not the only one. It's the same with with runes, people keep pronouncing it ruins.

I've gotten elite tomes from just about any type of monster in HM, doesn't have to be a boss.
