How 'bout a Valentine's day event with a Wintersday-style battle between, say, Lyssa and Grenth? If Lyssa wins, people get something cutesy (a garland of flowers, perhaps...) while if Grenth wins... out come the paper bags!

No, you see. It has to be max armor and item attribute +1 so its useable.

Unless the event masks this year have that, then this can't be an event mask because it will be simply useless like all the other event masks.

Actually, one thing I'd like to see is the option to take an existing festival mask to a crafter (or the festival hats guy), pay whatever cost in platinum and materials that ANet considers appropriate, and convert it into a fully functional piece of headgear.
