- In the Slavers’ Exile dungeon, the entrance leading to the final boss, Duncan the Black, will now be closed unless all party members have completed the appropriate steps in the quest "The Last Hierophant."
- Removed a graphical glitch that appeared while viewing some Norn bridges in first-person view.
- Fixed a bug in the Eye of the North quest "the Asura Trap" that caused Justiciar Naveed to drop the Grimoire Arcanum before reaching his destination.
Update - Monday September 17

I don't want to know.

...amazing. Game-breaking bugs, poor AI, unbalanced drops abound and they focus on an exploit into slaver's and a naked dude in a bridge that you'd have to be QUITE BORED to find without being told it was there.
Mind boggling.

Game is rated 12+, can't have nudity in it. Cope with (afformentioned things), or have GW's servers shut down?

Okay they fixed the naked dude. Fine. But in the last two major updates they fixed exploits that pretty much kept people from being required to spend more time/money on the game, rather than fixing the game so those that don't have as much time to play can have a more enjoyable time of it.
Anet loves the hardcore players with no lives, although they said the game was for the casual player.
Which is it?

I am still missing the bugfix that adds around 12 more explorables and 1-2 dungeons of FoW/UW/Urgoz/Deep caliber.
Basically, the shameful lack of content that became obvious after the preview weekend. We all knew that GW:EN is only an "expansion", I was still shocked how unfinished and few content we got.

Slavers' Exile is already overfarmed, onyx gems dropped in price for 50%, deldrimor armor for heroes can be bought for few k's too.. It doesn't make big difference anymore..
Effendi Westland
^ You missed the part where onyx' nearly doubled in price?

The GW community as a whole boggles my mind. After GW:EN comes out all people were doing is complaining about how the drops suck, then we (the community as a whole, I never did the quest) find a quest that can give decent drops in a reasonable amount of time. So what do we do... complain about it and get it changed. I guess people can go back to complaining how the drops suck now.

Sad to see the naked man go... Guess next time we could see him will be in GW2 with a new graphical model?

Anet needs to continue to take our suggestions but to make changes when, where, and how THEY see fit. Everyone probably wont agree with all of them, I havent, but the game will be better for it. I would rather have game development professionals, who are also players, making the call then a bunch of angry message board posters.
Vanquisher
Slaver's fix sucks. Should allow you to continue fighting Duncan without having to do all the other bosses again. So boring.

They complained about people making money off taxiing.
Some just find it incredibly offensive that someone should find a way to make money that doesn't involve picking up 104 gold pieces at a time.

How about, some people saw a bug being exploited, and reported it? Nothing more complicated than that?
Darkobra
It was obviously a bug.
It was obviously going to get fixed.
End of story.

I did have fun reading the other thread where people tried to justify why it wasn't a bug. Most of the excuses showed that given enough self interest and benefit you really can convince yourself that black is white.
Logically it was a bug, Anet called it a bug, but I epect all the logic dodgers will complain for weeks and call it a nerf.

Now the game is back to stretched grind instead of actual content.
Sub Frost
Funny how every one in the party needs to have all the 4 bosses/quests completed before duncan... but only one person is required to have completed "A Time for Heroes", to allow access to the "Elite" Slavers' Exile.
Darkobra
Why would you need a tutorial area for an EXPANSION? One that you MUST be level 20 to get to!
Diddy bow
nooz naked man is teh gone!
On a less important note looks like onyx might have some value again.

Seut's post. He said they didn't make the tutorial for an expansion so it would save them money.
darktyco
Wait- I thought the fix just blocked access to Duncan unless all party members had defeated the other 4 bosses.
Does this also mean that each time you kill Duncan you need to clear the other 4 bosses again?

Anet's argument for an expansion was: No new professions and tutorial areas frees up development time for high level content. That was a lie!

Someone pointed out this quest acted similiar to SF / Final Assualt quest.
I do think anet intended to implement the way it went live but did not forsee how the players would use (7 team + 1 runner) so they changed based on the response of the players actions.
Also due to running, trying to find a pug to do all 4 was hard because everyone was looking for runner.
Is it true that 1 hour you can clear all 4 bosses?
