pets

my pet died and i cannot find the corpse to revive.
i also went to the area were i first aquired it and can find no more of them .
what am i doing wrong?

You can res your pet by using comfort animal.......if you are a ranger or have 2nd professtion as ranger, which you are, right?

true i know all this and i have comfort pet but problem is i cant find its corpse to ressurect nor can i find a new one to charm.

If you already have a pet and it die, just use comfort, no need to find its corpse. It'll come back to live and return to you, no matter where you are. Or you can just return to town and come back out again.

neither of these things work as when i try to ressurect it says - target out of range - and when i go back to town (which i have tried five times) it is still missing.

Retrace your steps, which you can see if you put up the U map.

Ok, shoot in dark here. Do you have charm animal on your skill bar?

Question did you talk with a pet trainer, like the one in "Plains of Jarin"
Where you need to do the quests to get him a pet?

If you did and you said yes to his question, then you gave your pet to him and need to charm a new one.

U map is a mini map which pop up when you hit "U".

Ok, normally if you zone back to town with a dead pet, when you come back out the pet should come back to life as well. Um, puzzle. As for charm animal you need to have it on your skills bar, any of the 1 to 8 slot will do (I'm sure you knew this already). what skills do you have on the skills bar right now?

Charm And Comfort Are Both On My Skill Bar And When Pet Trainer Asked For My Pet I Declined But Then My Pet Was Killed And I Could Not Find Corpse.
My Pet Has Died Before And Once I Had To Reload Game To Get Him Back But Even That Is Not Working This Time.

Press U on your keyboard and follow your path. Stop every once in a while and click on comfort.

Rofl, the trainer has your pet :P

Ok, I ran out of idea here. You have the skill for the pet and still cant res, you re-zone and the pet is not even there. You never give the pet away as well.
Alright try this, charm a new pet and see what happen.

Ok I Know I Did Not Click Yes As I Traveled After That With My Pet For Awhile So Ill Just Let It Go But Were Do I Find A New One There Dont Seem To Be Anymore In Regent Valley Were I Got My First One.
Oh By The Way I Am A Level 11 Ranger/monk

There is a training area for skills on the island. I think there are flamingos or something there. Go there and charm one of them (assuming you are in Nightfall).

If you are in factions, there are many tigers outside of the monestary, near the next closes city to the right.

If you are in prophecies, there are melandru stalkers and moas roaming around everywhere. Also bears.

If you're looking for a Melandru's Stalker pet, those were virtually wiped out by the Searing (which I assume you've played through and are now into the ruins of Ascalon). There are still a few Stalkers around, along the western edge of Old Ascalon if you keep your eyes open. They can be difficult to see at first as their colour blends in well with the burned terrain, but if you hold down your ALT key they're easier to spot.

You could also try to charm something like a Moa Bird or a Warthog - those are also tamable pets found in that area.

i really dont know what to tell you except get a new pet. its possible that there is a glitch going on here that causes the pet's corpse to disappear after a certain amount of time like monsters. how long was ur pet dead for? also was the pets corpse exploited?
