I like using [skill=text]Energizing Wind[/skill] as energy management on ele heroes, but today did some calculations.
If you use an elemental attunent, [skill=text]Water Attunement[/skill] in question of the build I was assembling.
You get back 30% of the base energy of the skill +1 energy.
The outcome was that a 25 energy skill would cost 10 energy but the attunement would return 25*0.30%+1= 9(8.5) energy.
So after casting a 25 energy skill you get back 9 of the 10 energy spent, making the skill effectively cost 1 energy.
Is that true? It's has such an impact that I think it strange I did not notice how much of an energy saver is was before.
Energizing + Attunement?

wow lol, dual attuneing has been around for forever, ele attune + and attune = nearly free spells. this is probably the most common ele energy management in the game. and one of the best for spamming builds.

Yes I knew of [skill=text]Elemental Attunement[/skill]'s benefit for plenty of time, but not that you could get the same type of reduction with non elite skills.
I kinda guess that makes me blind and/or stupid?

It's not often used because:
1)Energizing wind is unwieldy. It takes a long time to poop out, has a fairly long recharge time, and is in beast mastery
2) The recharge time increase is a big pain.
3) Elemental attunement and mind blast exist.
