How do I get here?
Darko_UK
I was exploring my favourite dungeon Sepulchre of Dragmirr when I came across this door with 2 Grenth statues either side, It's blocked with a stone wall but when you face plant against it you can see it's got animted stuff like the asura monument things and some platform in the middle so I went and got that light of deldrimor skill to see if that would open it but it doesn't so I was wondering if possible - How to get into this room?

Here's another showing the door :S

Do you have to take that guy who has kegs with you from outside Sifhalla to open it?

Don't know... my guess is that the Light of Deldrimor reveals a hidden switch somewhere and that opens it... I may have a look through the entire level later, looks cool.
(also my favorite dungeon atm btw)

i dont think you will be able to get there in this dungeon.
Anet made it so for different dungeons sometimes you have "the same map"
its just the paths are different
i think if you do raven's point dungeon, you have to fight a boss in that room to get a dungeon key
most of the dungeons ive been in are pretty much just separated by a wall...
for example: Shards of Orr... its level 2 and level 3 are actually the same map
you just spawn in different locations, thats all, and there are 2 blocked walls (which are easily found) that separate them

Yeah, that looks a lot like the shrine area of the ravenspoint dungeon

A lot of dungeon levels have been "reused" here and there...it's quite possible the "hidden room" the OP found is in one dungeon, and has been blocked off for the Dragrimmar dungeon.

I only realised the other day that dungeons were being re-used when I went down to the second level of Arachni's Haunt (I think it was) and was sure I recognised it from Bloodstone Caves.
Heck.... A-Net have been kinda lazy in re-using whole chunks of dungeon... Kinda disappointing really.

Don't get me wrong, I love the new dungeons, but our armor compared to what our new hero's get leaves something to be desired...and now back on topic. I've seen a lot of re-used dungeon parts in other dungeons

Yeah the looks of it are all recycled stuff, it's too bad. Still, the enemies you fight are WAY more challenging then other campaigns. It even feels a bit PVP-ish sometimes.

Problably Light of Deldrimor to win
R!ghteous Ind!gnation
If you remember from much earlier in EotN there is a point at which you pass 2 statues of Grenth to fight some destroyers in there.

Primary reason I'm coming to resent it.
The whole thing is just fight fight fight. It isn't as though we're trying to get anywhere any more. It is just fighting for points... nothing more than that.

Yep, both of them are basically pieces of a larger dungeon. Based on the map textures in GW.dat, it seems like they made 9 complete dungeon templates, then broke them up and closed off parts of each to make the individual levels we see now.
Here's the complete "icy" dungeon template:
And here's all the levels that use pieces of that template:
Fronis Irontoe's Lair
Frostmaw's Burrows 2
Frostmaw's Burrows 3
Raven's Point 1
Raven's Point 2
Sepulchre of Dragrimmar 1
Not sure where this one is from, but it's in the textures

Damn, that's a pretty nice find, Ishmael.

This is kinda weaksauce.
It would be one thing if we could actually explore these dungeons completely... (but not have to). I don't know.... maybe some beancounter over at NCSoft said "Make it 18 dungeons... it will make a better bullet point."
Or, maybe during testing the "large" dungeons were thought to be too much, and they broke them down to smaller, more manageable sizes.
Any thoughts?

Actually it's pronounced "Lazy Ass" because I'd rather wait an extra 20 seconds to load a DIFFERENT map that shows some originality.
