A little disappointed that the Rainbow Phoenix only gets a standard "Animal Companion" monument in HoM, whereas the "Imperial" Phoenix gets its own statue. I would have thought that this should have been the other way round if anything!
Just a little warning before anyone else wastes a monument place.

And as far as I'm aware it is just called "Phoenix" ... not "Imperial Phoenix". If he is referring to the HUGE ones the Emperor has though, those cannot be charmed.

Well, it's not really a waste because you can still get the other pets. It is a waste of time levelling it though. Rainbow Phoenix was the first pet I added to the HoM, followed by the Imperial Phoenix, Black Moa and Black Widow.
I'm guessing there is no monument for the Rainbow Phoenix to avoid an outcry from people without People Know Me or greater about the grind to get the pet.

Actually I think all eye of the north pets get the animal companion statue. We'll I've only tried with the rainbow phoenix and snow bear. Could someone confirm?

I got both animal companion AND black moa when I added the black moa.
I think every single pet, even the ones that have their own statue, get the animal companion statue

I added my Black Widow spider to the HoM but traded it in for the Rainbow Phoenix. I now find that only the Animal Companion statue is displayed, and there is no longer a representation of my spider (nor the phoenix for that matter). I take it this means that the HoM only acknowledges that we had a pet, not what kind of pet. Can anyone confirm?

It's quite possible you have more than 5 pets/Heros and the Black Widow Spider dropped off the list.
Click on the monument to adjust the order of Pets/Heros shown.

Prophesies has a "memorable" pet (UW spider). To those who suggested spidey was displaced from the list - I hadn't even considered that. I've been adding heroes as elite armors became available, and never thought to re-shuffle the order. Will check this when I get home later. Thanks for reminding me of this feature.

i realy hope, like posted in an other thread, that the other campaign's and the add on will receive each their own ones too, so that not only factions has these prestige pets ...
I'd die for a little fenrir pet for my ranger as GW:EN prestige pet for example or for a reskinned mountain eahle pet called Quetzalcoatl , the thunderbird. would both fit perfect to GW:EN, especialy the Quetzalcoatl, because in GW:En also exist tengu like enemies called Quetzals.
Both would be real epic pets which would be worth to be called that alone by their lookings.
then give prohecies and nightfall something and fish, then would have each campaign and the add on have all their own special pets, but I would love it personally too, when the player could put any ranger pet there, once you got your pet to level 20

Quetzal is just the name of a brightly colored bird typically found in Central and South American rain forests. Hence the fact that those bastards are almost neon green....

I was very disappointed in Nightfalls pets, especially after Factions.
I was also surprised there was not a Black Moa equivalent for Luxon, although it's strange that the Incubator for the Black Moa Chick comes from Luxon territotry...

Lugging a howitzer and spare ammunition on their backs can't be of much help... not to mention trying to give them orders since they don't wear earplugs when those cannons go off above just above their heads
When I first got my monument tapestery, I only had a pet black moa. I tried adding some of my heroes but had no alternate armours for them so I couldn't. The only optionsI could add were Black Moa and Animal Companion, so I added both.

Ok, checked whether spidey showed up in HoM and all that appears is the big, fugly statue that says "Animal Companion". Screenie of this below. I only had the one pet prior to getting the phoenix, and the animal companion statue attests that I did indeed add her to the mix of heroes I had on display. Rearranging what heroes are displayed on the stage does not matter - only the fugly statue appears. No idea if this is a bug, but I'm very disappointed that spidey will never grace my HoM again.

I was gonna ask these questions in a new thread but this seems like the right place to ask, so here goes:
1. Can someone confirm for me if it is possible to display both the unique pets and the generic pets on the monument of fellowship?
2. Do you lose your pet in game if you choose to display it?
3. And because you can display up to 5 statues, does this mean you could have 5 generic pet statues on that monument or any other combination, eg: the 3 unique + 2 generic ?
4. And finally, does the generic statue still indicate with text which animal it was regardless of whether the statue depicts them or not? eg: "Polar Bear" or "Crocodile"

You can only have one copy of the Animal Companion monument. So you can have at most 4 pet statues displayed - the generic monument, the black moa, the imperial phoenix and the black widow. Quote:
