Monument of Fellowship question

I've got a silly question, that really has little to no impact on the game.

I pre-ordered my copy of Eye of the North, and got a key for the early weekend. During this early weekend, I placed my first tapestry in the monument of fellowship, and placed my pet upon it, which garnered a statue of a rather annoyed looking Black Moa.

After the official release, I installed the full game, and took my ranger into the Eye of the North. Again I placed my first tapestry in the monument of fellowship, and again placed my pet upon it. This time, however, instead of a statue of my actual pet, it placed one of a bear, wolf, and cat.

This seems a little odd, as there is no sense in reducing a games graphics. My first character still has the annoyed Black Moa statue. Is this another "bonus" to those that pre-ordered?

No. Only certain pets (black moa, imperial phoenix, and uw spider I believe) have actual statues. The rest get a generic 'pet' statue. Lazy ftw.

Only some pets get their own statue - Black Moa, UW Spider, and Phoenix are the ones I can recall off the top of my head.
