GWEN Ideas i want ANET to sort

basically i have all games including update GWEN. i have done all games and got titles etc but i got titles protectors with some difficulty but hey i dont mind a challenge. bu tthe thing that gets me is GWEN has roughly 16 dungeons i think. which you might as well say they are missions bit liek nf etc. but i am finding them to hard, as their is onyl a few dungeons i havent done already without dying and getting dp to 60percent. its a struggle and makes the game really annoying and tedious, when it gets liek this it isnt fun at all. i think that a few ideas shoudl happen through gwen and other games to make it better as you dont want games to hard as you lsoe interest.

1. do a hard mode for GWEN and make the mode their is now easier so that you can do dungeons without losing dp all time, and if you do lose dp get it back up with no probs, that way you are giving ppl who liek harder gameplay the benefit with hard mode and ppl liek me the easy mode.
2. make it easier to gain a few more titles like do a title for just getting 3 protectors on normal then a better one for hard mode.
3. make it easier to recruit make a noticeboard of some kind in all main outposts where you can leave a message on their for recruitment, as this will save spam as well
4. also on notice board a trade section so you dont have to spam stuff you can just leave notice on their and price if soemone lieks they can get your name but you gotta take off after you sold.

i just wish ppl would be able to pass these ideas on as i love guidl wars but gwen is to hard especially as i liek to use hench most times and heros and their AI isnt as good as humans. liek me talkhora has glyph of lesser energy which even though she has 5 energy left she wont use it she will go for heal first, a human would use then do 2 heals as in long run better.

plz someone pass this on and help me as frostmaws lair is to hard for me and i have 3 monks liek.

It may just be that you're not using an effective Hero/Henchman setup.

I don't know how many people do this so it may seem outlandish to you, but I always run with 4 monks for starters. Then I'll usually have 2 melee and 2 eles.

Depending on what your class is, you fit yourself into one of those 8 slots.

I'll usually run some cheesy melee build if I'm not a melee class already. The reason for this is that it's so much easier to get your Heroes/Henchman to follow your targets when you're melee. It's not necessary to fill the melee slot, but it helps a lot. I could probably give you a decent melee build for whatever profession your character is.

Anyway, I'll usually run with Devona, Mhenlo, Lina, and Cynn.

For heroes I use Tahlkora, Ogden, and Zhed (use w/e ele you want)

If you're going LoD which you should, you want to take Ogden, for some reason Dunkoro is an idiot and refuses to use LoD correctly.

Here are the three hero builds I use and do just fine with:
(I'd give you the template codes but I'm death leveling a Strider in pre right now >.<)
BTW the order of the skills on the skillbar do matter so perhaps try them in the order that I list them first before moving them around.

Then just bring Devona, Mhenlo, Lina and Cynn.

Try it out I dunno it seems to work well for me no matter which char I use.


P.S. Some notes on heroes. Don't ever use Tahlkora with a healer's bar. Each hero really does have it's own AI and is better at certain builds than others. Tahlkora will always fail at doing anything heal. Dunkoro will always fail at LoD. Ogden is great with LoD. Acolyte Sousuke really likes point blank AoE builds because even when he doesn't have point blank AoE spells he still likes to get in Point blank AoE range. I don't usually use any other heroes than Tahlkora, Ogden, Zhed, Dunkoro, and Sousuke so I don't know the other heroes' AI traits but I do know they have some.

You just need to adjust builds for different areas. When HM comes out I can imagine them making NM slightly easier for the people who aren't as good with managing heroes/henchies.

If you're constantly finding yourself at -60dp...you can consider crafting some Powerstone of Courage consumables. Or...possibly...work on your builds a bit?

Just like the threads made by folks who want Anet to make things harder for everyone for their own enjoyment, this threads fails on the same principle. If things are too hard for you, consider the skills/builds/aggrostrategies you are using and adjust accordingly.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the difficulty of GW:EN dungeon's - if anything I find them a bit too easy. I mean, in many instances my heroes/henchies can cope on their own... whatever I do is just gravy. Go with a guild team, and it's a walk in the park. It'll take Hard Mode to make them really challenging.

Sure, I've reached 60% DP in a dungeon once or twice... I just took note of why that happened... look at what skills hit me... and went back with a different team/skill setup or strategy. No problem.

Even if someone refuses to change their team/skill setup... and that setup is completely innappropriate for a particular dungeon... they can use an Essence of Celerity, Armor of Salvation and Grail of Might - and their rubbish team can become an unstoppable steamroller.

Please, that's what they did to the other campaigns, There's either 'too easy mode' or 'on your toes all the time mode' now. I used to help people through missions in normal mode for fun, now I send my puppy .
