So yeah, I'm noticing that alot of people that I've seen post alot in the past are getting banned. So what's up? What are these people doing to get banned? Just want to know so I don't accidentally do it.

Most of the above is common sense, and much of it is not going to get you banned for not adhering to it strictly. Barring severe infractions, there is a 3-strike system for most things, and usually a PM is sent explaining what was wrong, and a warning.
In especially heated threads full of many, many flames, which happens, you may not get an individual PM due to the sheer amount that would have to be sent out, but instead a public post reminding people in the thread that there are rules of conduct.

The most common sudden bans without warning are due to Ventari's Corner violations, usually ranging from 1-3 days with a ban message explicitly stating the violation.
Each of the forums where bans are regularly handed out has a 1-3 stickies telling you what NOT to do, such as;

Which seems like a long read, but it's really fairly simple. If you have any questions about the Ventari's Corner rules, always feel free to PM one of the moderator's there and they'll get back to you when possible.

If you receive a ban, do not hesitate to contact Inde or Chief, the site and forum administrators, through e-mail for clarification, or to contest it. Do bear in mind that as administrators, Inde and Chief receive quite a bit of mail. I think, and don't quote me on this, it shouldn't take more than 2-3 days.
Because the emails are publicly viewable, they're spam magnet, and there's always a slim chance your mail may be filtered incorrectly, but I don't think I've heard this complaint yet.

As for individual reasons anyone has been banned, this is almost always a private matter for the individual, and bans will usually only be discussed with that person.

Hope this helps. Going to close this, lest it becomes a magnet for "Why did I get banned?" posts. Again, if you got banned, please e-mail Inde or Chief, who can be contacted on
