Is Yorik the befuddled twin?

Yorik Warblade, just outside of Ft Rankor on the Snakedance side, offers (and only offers) a Stalwart Carapace Shield {(Req 9 Tac) AL 16, +45 Health w/Stance, -2 Phys Rec w/Stance} in exchange for 1 Emboldened Carapce Shield.

You can get the Emboldened Carapace Shield {(Req 9 Str) AL 16, +60 Health w/Hexed, -3 Phys Rec w/Hexed} from Hagnon Warblade for 5 Frosted Griffon Wings. Hagnon Warblade also offers for 5 Frosted Griffon Wings the very same Stalwart Carapace Shield {(Req 9 Tac) AL 16, +45 Health w/Stance, -2 Phys Rec w/Stance}.

Frankly I don't see the point. If Yorik offered a Str based version it would almost be understandable. As is, if I wanted that Stalwart Shield I would just get it from his brother. But since nothing we get is of any value in Gwen, there is no reason to bother anyway.

Oh, that's a relic from a time long ago... In an update, A-Net inadvertantly changed all the collector 45/-2 shields to 60/-3 (or something like that)
Obviously, not everyone was happy with this, so they added Yorik to help those unhappy with their new shield.

This collector was added as a result of an error which changed the stats of all Emboldened Carapace Shields. In exchange for the modified shield he offers a shield with the original stats (see July 14, 2006 update).

You dont understand.

Relationship between Warblade is very ... strained. They wouldnt talk to each other even if they stood few feet apart, rather using stranger as courier.

While Yorrick wants hexed shield instead of his stance shield, he wouldnt ask his brother for one directly.

Ether that or simple fact that i was quite pissed when my perfect shield turned to something unuseable by nerf and whined till anet corrected it. Which they did fast, kudos.

They still didnt refund green dye i hard to buy again thou. :-/

Good responses. I am amused in part because there does not seem to be a decent Carapace Strength shield left - not that I am looking for one now that GWEN makes them all useless for HoM.
