Why can't i go Gw:en?

I just bought Gw:en this morning from the local store.
I added the CD-Key to my account and unlocked it.
But i can't seem to get to Gw:en.
i tried doing the quests from cantha, kamadan and Lions Arch but i always end up standing near the entrance of some cave asking me to enter and i can't
there's nothing to click on..
I am so pissed off right now.
Anyone has this problem?or it's just me?

A few ppl in my alliance has the same issue. I'm guessing someone broke the GW:EN button

Not just you - I heard 2 other guys dicsussing this in Lions Arch about an hour ago.

Did you press and hold "Alt" down? If so, you should see something that says "Fissure"

If not, it sure sounds broken

I did, but nothing appeared.

You are level 20 right?

This was working fine yesterday and suddenly today it stopped working.

At around noon GMT, Bendah dissapeared from Kamadan. I had to close GW and reopen it to see him again. As I tried to get his quest with another of my lvl 20 chars and go into GW:EN with yet another char, the "fissure" does not show up.

Tried same thing in Cantha with no luck. Tried opening/closing GW, creating an image, still nothing.

This is a serious bug. I tried reporting it with the /bug command but not sure that's still used.

Come on Arena.Net, fix this fast!

And you have accepted the quest as well?

I guess Anet realised how bad EOTN was, so they decided to not let new players play it. Good move Anet, way to save face. Seriously though, they have completely slacked off on all EOTN related bugs/etc. This will get fixed eventually, I imagine just pester NCSoft support until they pester Anet in return.

Do you have to be ascended?
Only tried so far with my ascended chars, and it worked fine.

I cant go on my warrior now, however my other chars who had already been to eotn cant go into the fissure either.

Today (at least in the last 3 hours) it doesn't work for anyone. I've tried with ascended chars as well.

Anyway, being ascended is no limitation to go in GW:EN. Only being lvl 20

maybe yuo need to be lvl 20 to get there

I have 6 characters level 20 didn't work with any of them.

/bug was announced long long ago as discontitued and send in a ticket instead

ah! I'm so glad it's not just me! I've taken 3 characters into GWEN so far, this morning I tried to take a fourth and there was no cravasse/fissure to click on. So frustrating! I tried a few times too.

I sent a report to plaync.. and that's what i got.

We had the same problem. the update that just came out fixed it.

Guess I'd just been lucky. I never had any issues at all getting to GW:EN with any of the characters I've taken there so far. The only place I never went through was the entry in Factions. Mostly used the one outside Kamadan.
