NPC are "leaping"

hello,

i bought guild wars factions yesterday and didn't had any problems until about 1 hour ago. Some NPC's (mostly male gaurds, and quest NPC's) are "leaping" forward and then slide back, and the don't stop. I restarted guildwars first but the still did it, after that i rebooted my computer but i still have the same problem.

Can somebody help me out with this?

Ahh, I've had the same issue. Its corrupted files. Your remedy: re installation. Sorry to have to say it >.>

do you mean repair installation? i tried that but they still leap. I can't find re-installation or uninstallation btw...

look in your GW program folder, and find GW.dat. this file is huge and unfun to redownload, but it seems to be corrupted. Delete it, then go to start | Control Panel | add/remove programs, and uninstall guildwars from the list. then go to http://www.guildwars.com/support/downloadclient/
and download the client/install it. Its free. After doing that, i highly recommend going Start | Run |and type:
"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image <--quotes and all i guess. thats how it runs on my computer just fine. if its stored somewhere other then default, you will have to change it a little.
this will take a while to download, depending on your connection. its about 3gigs or a tad more.
