The giants esp named in eye of the north are pretty nasty i need to find a way to stop them both specials and melee im using head crack, shield bash, disrupting chop but that does not seem to work well.

Its as if they were immune to these attacks esp knockdown have not been able to knock these guys down.

Also a good setup of heroes and henchies made to take these guys down.

Well, first off, giants are immune to KD so shield bash isnt going to be too helpful, daze only effects spells and disrupting has to hit while they use a skill. That aside, stances, blind and enchantments work great against melee

Giant and Ogre type enemies have been immune to KD since...well, at least since Prophecies launched.

Best you can really do is to Disrupting Chop/Disrupting Blow/Disarm their Giant Stomp. If that doesn't work, revisit the builds you're taking.

Some hex removal is always good. Interrupts, blind/weakness, wards, aegis, they're all decent stuff.

Giant stomp is pretty easy to interrupt, and you can take dolyaks or SS to stop KD on you. Putting weakness and blind on them will make them pretty harmless too. You can also bring ward vs melee as well to keep you up and going.

[skill]ward of stability[/skill] > Giant stomp.

You can fit it on almost any caster character as it doesn't need to be up very long, it's just to take the first hit. Giants stomp recharges rather slow.

I would just pack some interrupts on a hero or an interrupt henchman, the jotun knockdowns are only annoying, they are quite easy to kill anyway, well I find that. Interrupts and blind are the way to.

My Gwen hero [yeah she's sexy] runs a 14 insp. 12 curses build and for any large melee foes who get up close, she uses Shadow of Fear, Enfeebling Blood.

However, for the Wurms in Frostmaw's Burrow, you need to be awake and use urself as bait [assuming you're the tanker] and manually move your heroes and henchies away. Thankfully most of the AoE stomps/kd's are nearby range only so you'll still be able to tank with the right hero/hench setup.

Always take into account that the KD only affects people within their aggrocircle. So if you're a caster, let the meleedealers go in first and make sure you can nudge the circle so you prevent any KD.
That said i agree with previous poster and would greatly recommend

Notice they don't use Giant Stomp

Edit: Oops. If you meant Sadistic and Nomad Giants, yes they are considered Giants but wiki says Junundu skills are an exception when it comes to KD'ing them.

'nuff said. Add in For Great Justice! and Enduring harmony to extend it... and you got around 30 straight seconds of SY until FGJ ends and then y ou have to wait a few more to start D-slashing constantly to put up SY

Interrupts and blind are your only options, well besides just brute forcing them. They aren't that difficult to kill imo..
