Went to DoA and not a soul about anywhere! So how is one meant to do it now?
Sure some parts can be soloed, but not all of it!
Can't take henchies to help so what is one meant to do?
Wait till we are all bored with GWEN!!!!

Oh, that's wonderful news considering I just recently ordered Nightfall. Yeah, its 1 year too late, but nevertheless...

Maybe you're right, but I find that a lot of people overexaggerate when they say a place is dead. I got Factions last May (yes, once again 1 year too late) and despite many rambings about Factions is dead...noone goes there, I found there to be a fair number of people in Factions. Yes some areas are deadish or very few people, but there still a fair number of people there. And yes, like the OTP said, when people get bored of GWEN then they'll probably migrate back to the other campaigns.

During peak European time the other day, I went there to buy a tormented shield and there were a couple groups forming in the English district.

People farming gems kept DoA alive. Since armbraces are now widely available there is no real reason for anyone to go back.

It's possible to go through it with you and a friend and your heroes these days, on normal mode that is.

Well International District is perpetually dead.

I didn't see many people at all in Euro or American districts yesterday either.

Topic title should have been "DoA - now DeAd"
I agree henchmen should be added by now.

EDIT: Or title it "DoA; Domain of Anguish, or Dead on Arrival"
Get it? Because its dead when you zone in!

GW:EN is still new-ish, give it a while.

Hopefully.

I, for one, am happy to let it die.

It was never what it was promissed to be. It was the most unbalanced, poorly concieved addition to a game I really enjoy to play. Adding that level of frustration and forced cookie cutter build mentalitly on us was a huge let down and a poor showing of how Anet thinks of its customers.

The first char I reached DoA with was my Dervish, a nightfall only creation, and soon discovered that it was completely useless there. Last time I was there to get Razah for a char I hit 'P' and saw a long list of Obsidian Flesh wars all looking for a party.....

Imo they did a better job on Hard Mode and GW:EN, I couldnt find a 'useless' profession for any of the two, and that's a good thing.

Because the distinction no longer matters. Since the servers aren't divided anymore, American/Euro people go to each others' districts.

The problem with DoA is the difficulty and cookie cutter builds. When pugging, you cannot deviate from them one bit. This means lots of waiting, and no choice when accepting people.

With new consumables, a guild or friend's group though, the place is no more difficult than any other HM area. This doesn't apply to PUGs though, which makes it much less appealing for most people, who'll try to avoid PUGs there.

Sure there is...to farm gems!!

I beat NF last week and was actually able to get into a group. Last weekend was a complete bust b/c of the triple green weekend in GWEN so I didn't bother to go there. I want to complete the Mallyx quest, in HM, and wanna get it done in the next week or so. I hope it isn't too hard.

doa is bad and the rewards are bad.

Maybe players started realizing that.

DoA was a failure ever since its inception, Mallix himself is still bugged, and the weapons you can get form the collector do not show in the Monument of Valor.

DoA fails IMO
