A good player does not use the morale boost to get through the dungeon, no matter what mistakes are made. They kill monsters to remove DP, and depending on resources, aided by an xp scroll (which, quite frankly, are cheap and easy to buy from ANY merchant).

Now you made the thread, stating that good players are punished for reaching the cap. You have not made an argument with which to back up this claim that has not been refuted. They are not punished for reaching the cap on points. It is mistakes and bad playing that leads to DP, and a good player will work with that aspect to remove it (75xp per 1%).

Next time, take a scroll, and see how fast the DP decays. They are very much worth the gold (+50% xp for 10 minutes is only 200 gold). Otherwise, repeatedly do the snowman dungeon, you'll get a random candycane at the chest every time.

Why is this even an issue? Anet just needs to give back the bonuses while stripping out the faction gain, end of story.

It might even happen in a couple years.

I think you confused grinding with skills. Any one can grind just kill the same map over and over again .

A good player don't get much (if any) DP so having DP bonus removal affects good players very little.

Your thread should read "leave DP bonus for noob grinders"

I don't think "good" "skill" and "pve" should go in the same sentence...post...or thread...

Well, I think your thought process is very flawed. I've met many good players in pve. In fact, some of them had more skills than a lot of pvp players I've associated with.

Oh, but you were just trying to be funny...

@Mods: You might want to add the bolded words to list of censored words. Not sure if you want English translation of them posted here...

Back on topic. Seriously, good players can do good with or without the 10% morale boost bonuses. The ones that can't do without are... well, you see where I'm going.

They only need to censor first two word the third isn't a curse word.
And I can do good without morale boost but that's not the point, the point is why should I lose something just because i wanted to make my dwarven skills more effective.

you're a good grinder, and that's it, if you don't want to "waste" your time not getting dwarven points, go get asuran/ebon/norn or make a new char

Heh, I'm torn. No bonuses would suck, so I feel kind of sorry for the OP. But, at the same rate, it was a very dark day when people started to claim that they were good because they killed thousands of snowmen, or worm farmed the same group of margonite bosses a hundred times over. Doing something once is an accomplishment. Doing the same thing 1000 times over isn't, it just shows you have way too much time on your hands. Its sad that Anet abandoned their original design and started to reward this type of behavior. So, I'm kind of glad to see pitfalls for those who grind. If you're such a good player, you'll be able to deal with it.

OP went like...5 feet over your head. The point was more like...title caps at 8 without hard mode implimented.

you can -60% zerg any of these dungeons anyway.

Its pve, you either have trouble with it or you don't.

If you don't have trouble with it then you're not bad, if you do you're bad.

There can be no 'good' for something that requires no skill or thought.

It was exactly the same for lightbringer and sunspear titles, and that worked absolutely fine. You got better drops each run too. Whats the issue?

Just do bounty runs in the Snowman dungeon in HM (once added) to increase your drawf ranks. Easy!!! And again.. better drops!

^^

fish is quite right, wait for hardmode, these titles work like the preious nightfall ones, at some point you are just too good to fight weak foes.

You need a tougher challenge, and in HM you get that. Once you max your title you can still get the shrine bonus.

Its just a matter of patience as it was with Lightbrigner and Sunspear, so long to wait for HM, but when it came so easy to max those titles

QFT. You proved that you can havest dwarf points easily enough to mindlessly grind them, thus you no longer need those helps.

Lesson to learn: grinding is punished. YAY! Moar plox, anet.

It's constantly reminding me that I am not a good player because I don't have high ranks in PVE titles.

you only get morale from dungeon (dwarven) blessings. it'd be nice if all the other ones did it, but maybe thats something for HM or not at all.
