Insignia/Runes for PvP? (GvG/HA)

I'm just curious as to what runes/insignias are most commonly used for PvP, for both casters and frontline? I'm debating between Stalwart, Survivor, and for the monks, the elemental one, but I'm not so sure.

Also, how much energy should a monk, mesmer, and ele have for GvG/HA?

Survivor Insignia and minor runes (you want 600+ health).

weapons are generally either your wand or spear (wand for spellcaster inscription bonuses, spear for health), with several foci and shields on hand so that you can switch as needed between spellcaster bonuses and armor.

Energy is dependant on the set you're in. Assuming you're in the +5 energy spear/shield weapon set, you should have 35 energy, with maybe 30 more energy as an Elementalist due to 10 Energy Storage. You can get by with less Energy Storage, depending on your build and how much energy management you have.
