Annoying Green tint on Mask of the Mo Zing

There seems to be an annoying greenish tint to the default gray Mask of the Mo Zing... My armor is currently colored dark grayish (black/gray) over-all because of the fact that the skirts of my character's Ancient Leggings will always be dark gray no matter what dye I use (gotta match and look stylish while killing stuff ^.^)... I've tried doing several dye combos (black/white - black/black/black/white - silver/black/white/gray - blue/blue/yellow/gray - etc...) but I can't seem to match the color of the dark shade of gray my current armor has (that annoying green tint seems to always be there).... My request is for Anet to take off that greenish tint on the Mask of the Mo Zing, so that its default gray color matches with any armor that is dyed gray (for example: Sei Tung armor dyed gray) and will hopefully also dye the same way when used the same dye combo as the armor its matched to...

PS: If anyone has been able to figure out a nice dye combination that will make the mask more grayish instead of green, pls post it.... (anyone having trouble making the mask's color closely match the rest of your armor's current color?)

here's some comparisons....

mine is dyed just black, its DARK black. I cant even find it in my inventory unless i move my mouse over it. Its quite funny actually. Just dye it black and you wont have issues.

The problem is the Dye system
It's bugged.

If you add ONE dye, it works correctly (or almost correctly)
If you add TWO or more, they get mixed with the base color of the armor, and that SUKS.
For example, elemetalists' base is purple. If you want to get 'gold', yo would use 'yellow+silver', won't you? Haha! No. Yellow+Purple=Brown+Silver=Khaki.
To get 'gold' you need to counter the Purple, with other color, like green:
Yellow+Purple=Brown+Green=Yellowish+Silver=Gold.

They have to fix the dye system.

You should try using a red dye in your mix. Red is the opposite of green.

The dye system's pretty weird; I had a hell of a time making the few dyable areas of my paragon's armor pink. Red and white, people. Red and grey if you're cheap. Jeezus. I actually had to chuck in an unrelated color because the damn base gold was coming through and it's still not as close as I'd like.

But ANYWAY.

The first one (grey) looks pretty close to the rest of your set, but I agree. It's still greenish. They ought to fix the new items, at least.

I've tried that approach as well, thinking that since they're compliments, the mask would turn grey... but the Red just totally takes over.... Its a pretty strong dye....

I've currently come to terms that the mask cannot be dyed a true dark gray, so I've settled with blue/blue/yellow/gray, which matches my boots:

Its a shame I could not get the mask to flow with the dominant colors of my armor

OK. Update....

I'm thinking this mask must've been made out of a drunken chameleon's skin (as a guildie had told me ;p)...... Just to give you guys an idea of how MESSED UP this mask is in regards to its color, here are some pics of the mask under different colored light sources (in Tanakhai Temple)... Notice how the mask color changes despite the rest of the armor not even changing color one bit..... The blue light source is the WORST:

ANET... PLEASE fix this mask!!!!!!! /beg

EDIT - nvm.

Thats too bad. Only thing is that its a different material as your armor, which makes for different dye colors.

Yeah I was planning to dye it black to match the black parts of my sin's 1.5k Kurzick armor, but it was way way way darker. Even if I dyed the armor black, the mask would be darker than any part of it. I was able to get a decent parallel to the armor's red using red + white. Maybe when I'm wealthier I'll go White Ninja. For now she looks like a demented Christmas elf :P

You have to use at least 2 colours for the red to counter-act the green.

I've already tried green/green/green/red, green/green/red, and green/red... See below:

I hope Anet takes notice and gets this fixed
