Use WASD . . no this isn't that basic

I have recently moved to Uni and now only have a laptop that just barely runs GW's on lowest settings.
I found some builds for Necros (Sab's i believe) that are great for hardmode in Ascalon and other 4/4 party areas.
I took a few PvE GW:EN skills including Summon Ruby Djinn and i thought i'd take a break from HM and farm some Asura Rep

Heres the problem, Ratsa Sum apparently needs a better graphics card than Ascalon and now when i try to login i get booted with a crash message

Is there anyway to move my character without logging in?
I can play some areas but not GW:EN i can live with that but i'd rather be able to play those than be stuck with a stupid graphical error that means i can't get on the character

*log onto another toon in your stable, one in a quieter area ..
then rezone that toon to International or Russian districts, ie somewhere less populated ...
then switch to your toon in Rata Sun ~ hopefully will not crash because there's fewer people there ..

Thanks but that didn't work
It must be all the floating stuff the Asura have that kills my graphics

If i sent a ticket to NCSoft can they move characters? or i could find someone with a better computer and just move on theirs
Shame that Proph and Factions run (i went looking for skills in both so i know they do) but GW:EN doesn't

Find someone else in your uni who plays, log in there and move your character.

Go to the options and put the Graphics-quality to low. Login, move Char, and put Graphics back to normal. This might work^^

Setting your graphics performance lower in the F11 menu does not help. I had this same problem with my desktop. If I'm correct, you get a GW screen in the background, which you can only enter by using alt-tab, saying GW has to close due to an unrepairable graphics error. The window also gives you a link I thought. Anyways, only way to solve this is to log in on that character on another computer which can handle Rata Sum, and then move to a town which your own computer is able to handle. Make sure you do something in that town, like talking to a merchant, because if you log out to soon, the location of your character will not get saved. Oh, and busy districts have (little to) nothing to do with your graphics. A graphics error is caused by an unsupported video card, not by other people.

Good luck.

Did not work for me. And I don't think this will make any difference in this case, because DirectX is not tied to the graphics card.
