BEHOLD: THE GREAT UPDATE HAS COME!
I have updated EVERYTHING here so all the armor is correctly labeled. Note that some of the armor have 'unknown' pieces to them and that the dwarven armor is usually missing the headpiece or gloves. Also the Dervish has no dwarven armor because no one has submited decent pictures of them onto Wiki yet, so I do not have that availible at the moment.
What this topic is: This article is meant to be a guide for those who wish to know what GW:EN armor is unique and to see what deals (Asuran to Elite Luxon for Necromancer) or improvements (Asuran to Elite Imperial for Assassin) you can get on the armor that you are considering purchasing.
WHAT THIS TOPIC ISN'T:This topic is NOT for arguing over the quality of GW:EN. This topic is NOT for flaming. This topic is NOT for discussing how much you hate grinding for titles. Already people are acting like retards over arugments that aren't even relevent to the topic. If I see anyone posting ANYTHING like it after I am done editing this post I swear to God that I will contact a moderator!
PLEASE DO NOT POST ABOUT THE TOPIC OF THIS DISCUSSION WITHOUT READING THE ABOVE. I am really sick of "There are many other topics like this" crud. If you are refering to the whining topics this is NOTHING like them! Read the reasons for this topic ABOVE. IF I HAD SEEN A TOPIC LIKE THIS BEFORE I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE THIS.
I am sorry I have to be so blunt and rude like this, but I really don't want this topic closed to to pointless arguments that people have been having. I put a little bit of work into this, so please have patience and don't ruin my day. Yes I made some mistakes, but I already talked about that in the warning section for all you retards who can't read. READ THE ABOVE BEFORE POSTING AT ALL. I really don't want to have to post things just telling you to chill. Tell me what is wrong with this this topic, please I beg you. But DON'T go chucking insults just because I got it wrong and you failed to noticed that little warning above.
NOTES:
Silver Eagle visor is the same as Primeval Warrior visor.
There are weapon reskins as well but there is NO WAY anyone can convince me to research those. Way too much trouble for what it's worth.
All Norn armor is all unique.

Thanks for posting this. My main char is a male Elementalist, and I've always thought male Ele armor sucks. I was anxiously awaiting GW:EN so that hopefully they would invent Ele armor that looks cool. Then... wth? Same ugly armor slightly different? Shame on you ANet. And sorry, the Norn Trenchcoat-with-Fur-Trim armor doesn't do it for me.

Youre missing a lot actually. for example. the Necro Fanatics armor reskin (Necro monument female). Necro Cabal leggings (Necro dwarven female leggings) Female silver eagle leggings is female gladiator leggings |

Those are the only instances where armor exists is repeated in any of the games.
GW:EN doesnt repeat any armors.
They have reskins, yes.
But i own 22 hoodies and other than color, weight of the fabric, and the design on it, its practically identical.
Whats wrong with reskins anyway....i mean look at Halo 3...the Mjollnir armor looks the same as the previous one...

If you cant handle my critical attitude, then maybe you shouldnt post on public forums. im not even flaming or using bad language.

This is the armor that uses ecto and more, and the armorer is FOW.
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Obsidian_armor
requires 120 ecto, and 120 shards
looking at the cost (just at echo 120 X avg price of 5p = 600p on ecto alone)
i'm sorry but this thread seem kind of pointless, there are already about 48 other threads whining about how the armors are reskins. not saying that this is a 100% whine thread mind you. even so many of your observations are incorrect, for example the dwarven necromancer armor or warrior monument, which is actually a mix of elite kurzick/sunspear chest, 1k luxon leggings and boots, primeval gloves and elite templar helm. the male warrior dwarven armor only has one piece of elite charr hide armor and that's the chest, leggings are 1k kurzick, boots templar, gloves seem to be elite kurzick. list goes on. I really don't see the point in having an incorrect list of armor reskins, it doesn't even tell you that the elite stormforge armor for elementalist share's skin with the collector armor :P
but of course, if you want to update the original post feel free to use whatever i said :P
