Petition: no more heroes!

ORRR...... Hes so good he doesnt need heros to beat the game so he can just use henchies cause hes bbqhaxpwnsauce good.

So I guess its you that can rot in the game cause you arent good enough at this game to be able to use henchies or PuGs; well I guess you actually wont rot because Anet gave you heros cause of your imcompetence with henchmen.

Theres something all you whiners can do that say the game is too easy. Beat it with just "crappy" henchies. You all say they suck so it should be a challenge.

Heroes are the best thing ever added to this game. Although besides the HvH i do NOT think they should be allowed in PvP. Heroes are amazing for when you cant get a full group going, or if you just hate to play with pugs. I personally would take a hero over any pug any day. I just wished they would allow me to bring more of them :P

I would go for , cut heroes down to 2, not 3

here is why we need heroes... cause I went to Elonia the other day to the capital. Wanna know something? District 1 and I counted about 6 people other then myself. Not even enough people to make a full PUG.

Umm, because everyone is out with their heroes... if they didn't have heroes, they'd be LFG, and you could play.

Well I only started Playin GW with Factions. So in the flow of some of your arguments, you say that if you didn't start there you suck. Well I have Prot on Tyria, Cantha & Elona. I would not have gotten it if I did not have Hero's (Tahlkora saved me more than I can count). Also, human players, although it was always my 1 guildmate who helped me and me him.

The reason I like the hero's is that me and my guildmate was in the middle of a vanquish when his doorbell rang. Where we a party of players that would never have gone well with them, the 2 of us know each others playstyle so we know how to react in unison to different scenarios. Our hero's are also set up to complement our playstyle.

Now however, I lost my net connection for a few months and he has shot through the titles and now I need to catch up. (GW2 release is comming fast!) However The times I get to play now don't sync up with him and now I am left with Hench... (Yuck).

"Get other players" some would scream. Well I did try, what happened? We hit ONE snag and party was wiped. Instead of waiting to rez what happend? They QUIT. Now THAT is pathetic IMO. only 2 human players remained with me and my Hero Monk. Guess what? WE finished the mission WITH masters.

Why did I ramble like that? Cause I need a party that can help me through some goals that I need (Vanquish, for example), however unlike school kids I have a Life and a job and couldn't get Legendary Vanquisher & Legendary Guardian in the 1st week HM was released. Now most have that and Now no one wants to do that, and if I do happen to find one or two they don't even equip runes on thier hero's OR change the build, cause they don't have any skills to replace the default ones with. Lazy if you ask me...

Anyway, I would like the option of having more Hero slots, what would also be nice is if you can choose which ones are displayed in the drop down.

I use Tahlkora (Mo) MoW (MM) & Jora (W). I am an ele myself. It would be nice to be able to add Jin for some interupt and maybe Melonni for a DTank. Just 2 more slots would be cool, but to make a full party would also be cool, but not all that critical.

Won't join with players? I do that when I can. Though with the intelect of some of the people on the servers it is better to play with the AI.

Heroes may have originally caused less PUGing in Nightfall, but after a year its all balanced out. I actually never saw any drops or negative side effects myself to heroes being introduced.

But GWEN seems fine to me, and ive been able to find PUGs. Why the protest against anymore?

I personally love heroes and im glad they added. Being able to bring your own MM hero and a second SF ele and set your own monks up, is a god send.

Sorry to say, but my hero monks tend to do a better job then most human monks. And I dont know anything about healing!

Not to mention, where are more going to come from? This is the last very expansion! Anet arent going to add anymore, so this is somewhat of a vain attempt at a protest!

If you dont want to use heroes, you dont have to. If other want to, they can. You cant dicate whether heroes be used or not. Some people might want more of them, while others dont.

Note: if heroes had such a negative effect, then how was I able to PUG the whole of HM in all 3 games? And that wasnt just with guildies!

It was satire and it was good, the Rurik story was great. But you're all doing the exact same thing as in the thread he was criticizing... grow up, learn to play and post something constructive.

Now now Rurick...dont make me send you back to the fire islands. Sure you were fun to hang out with but then you went and got yourself killed and I ended up having to rescue your soul from the Lich.

I still take my old buddies Cynn and Mhnelo out with me on missions when I cant find a good pug player to go with me. And I would have rather taken Stephen with me but he refused to investigate the fissures in lions arch..so I got stuck with Talon and some really tall chick who dresses skimpier than my sister!

So while you sit there sipping ale in the Mists, Im out here busting my tush and having to keep Cynn from roasting Mhenlo when his eye wanders. Oh yeah..and while youa re talking to Alesia..kick her in the butt for healing everyone except me!

Well, I think more people should start bringing real people into their game play. Although, there is a limit on the amount of heroes as it is. If you could not bring heroes people would bring henchies, and beg to make them better or to bring heroes back in.

If you could put 7 heroes in your party I would complain, but for 4 heroes I don't see a problem. Its just all about how you play the game. IF you want to play it by yourself, there is the ability to do so *which is not a problem at all*. If you want to do it with others there is ALSO the ability to do so. So, there is a different game play based on what you want to do.

What town is was that as Elona has to capitals Kamaden for Istan and the rest of Elona Kodash Bazaar I beleive.It wasn't so bad to get a group going when heros weren't around actually it was fun.

Its a glitch with the new server we got yesterday, this is the price to pay for a fast Guru.

Anet will never, and I repeat never, do as this petition is asking. If you don't like Heros, don't use them. And if you want to play with people online, find people to do so, heroes are an easy alternative, not an evil entity.

Normally I don't close Petition threads, but this one is absurd.
