Dear GWG folk: "running mission"

Hey there.

Did this.. did this change at some point?

Accepted an offer from a guy to run Gate of Madness mission for 10k; expensive, but it seems like it'd be a hard mission to run, so why not give the guy the money? Anyway I made some nice cash on other characters from GWEN dungeons, and this has always been a tough mission to find a good group for.

"So, I need you guys to fight with me all the way, like normal, and you know, do the mission, and then give me the money afterwards. Also I and the rest of the team will berate you for "cheating" by not doing this. Also I'll inform you of this once the mission starts."

Wait.. what?

I'm pretty sure "running mission" meant, "Here, you sit on your lazy ass, I'll do it for you, then you give me some bucks." It's a service. I'm not hiring your bad self as some kinda mercenary henchman.

So what's the deal? It'd be one thing if just the runner got weird like this, but the rest of the team did as well, and I ran into something similar awhile ago. When did this change?

Some people choose to do this. If you don't like the service they offer, find someone else. There's no point in making a thread over peoples choices in their service.
