First off. I haven't seen this idea listed before. If it has been, please link me to the appropiate thread. I gave up on the search function long ago.

I'd like the option to be able to see the skill bars of my teammates. Add something similiar to the clickable numbers that are beside our heroes that when clicked displays my teammate's current bar.

I know we have the ping skills option and that's a wonderful feature, but it needs to go a step further. When I join a pug, It would be nice to be able to see my teammates skills at a glance without asking everyone to ping (and asking again and again for those that won't ping.) Sometimes I just want to coordinate my skills so they mesh better with others.

Advantages:
- Stop the jerks that like to ping the expected bar then quickly switch back to their normal crappy bar.
- When joining a pug, you can quickly judge the skill level of your fellow players to a certain extent.
- For monks especially, ease of coordinating builds.
- Ease of setting up for PvP teams.

Disadvantages
- Could promote more elitism and "change your bar to this NOW!!!!!" jerks.

So, what are your thoughts? Would you welcome this change or do you think it would ruin the game?

I really like the idea, it gives the upportunity to just look up and tell any changes that could be useful

I'm not sure about skillbars, but I'd like to see when enchantments end on my teammates and which hexes and conditions they suffer (I can see it on my heroes why can't I see it on humans in team?). I'm monking mostly. :P

It has been listed before and shot down because people like to keep their privacy. Plus, you can always just ask them to ping, and if they won't, they're probably not going to be a cooperative person during the mission/quest. I rather have a less skilled and cooperative person than someone with a good bar but is an ass.

Or they could just not want to ping because they are scared of elitists that will kick them

Sounds like a great way to be an ass telling everyone what skills you want on their bar
