Hey !!

Not!! you do not dream!

Until today, the developers of Guild Wars, had hidden us certain piece of armour!
They revealed us all the “glove elementary”

But, by making a quest , a PNJ becomes a “salesman of armour”.
And, it manufactures you the boots of ices.

I would not say any more in order not to not reveal the easy way too much, but I give you a council: To try to make the most quests possible !

There is a screen shot of the boots on him, refresh page maybe if you don't see it.

Detail of the quest pls, not to offend you OP but these days anyone could photoshop a jpeg. Infact if you look closely, the top picture had been photoshop on the background.

Well, has anyone here done every quest available in EoTN?
and it might be a fake cant say for sure and im going to have to say chaos boots would probably only look good on a monk with obsidian armor. i can just picture it that way

Olfun Loneye is one of the NPCs in Longeye Ledge. He gives you the quest to go find the camp used by the Ebon Vanguard when they were taken prisoner. His dialog is the following:

"What's that? The Ebon Vanguard? That rag-tag bunch of humans passed through here not too long ago, muttering something about fighting Charr. I've got no problem with that just so long as they don't do it here. I heard some fighting downhill a few nights ago southeast of here. From what I heard, it was a large battle. Keep your eyes open; it's likely you'll find some gear and weapons you can scavenge. If you find a nice axe, let me know."

I know that there are several clickable remains of solders and armor out near the helmet you clik on to start the first mission, but I never bothered to click on them myself. Maybe one of them pops an axe that you can take back to Longeye...sort of a pseudo-quest item.

I'm at work, so I cant check that myself, but its worth a shot, if only to prove this as a fake...

look at thr armor suffix look closely you can see it looks like a cutout
the ground is brown but the background behind the suffix is a darker brown

I believe the OP. Look at the length of time he has been a Guru member. Also, besides the English broken making it hard to understand, I'm certain he wants to soak up the fact that only he has them, for now. Easiest thing to do, watch for him to come online and see them in game.

I also believe that are a fake, the npc name is not centered, it is like he has added [Armour] at the end.

Fake sorry but a good fake
If you save the pic open it with irfanview or whatever pic viewer yopu have and zoom in a lot you can see the jagged edges on the gloves but no jaggyies on the boots
also the black bits on the edges of the window shouldn't be there their rounded not a straight edge.

I am cynical too, but I kinda like the icy gauntlets so I think an icy boots might be alright.
I like the fact he doesn't want to spoil our fun by spoilers, but he could at least show what the armour guy offers (since there seems to be doubts in this).
We can also make a boots via texmod (sorry I don't do Texmod). I don't know how long that would take, at least to show that it can be a fake.

If you're going to post showing off a "new" thing, do not leave out how to get it. It is very childish and not something that belongs on these forums, or really any forums at all. Same reason why we don't allow people to post threads in the farming section saying they can farm such and such but not producing the build to show anyone how to do it.

Basically, if you're not going to share, then keep it to yourself.

If these exist, someone who is willing to share will eventually find them too, and then we'll get the nice informative post that we should have gotten in the first place. Something to help the community instead of something to annoy them.
