Guild Name Changes

Hi,i would like a.net to change their minds about guild owners not been able to change the name of the guild,as i & alot of other people dont think it is fair at all,after you have spent 500-600k on getting your guild up & running,the last thing you need is to have to throw it away & start again just because they wont let you change the name of your guild,there is alot of people who make a guild with a friend,but then things can go wrong,so what im saying is that its not hurting anyone if they were to let people change the name of their guilds,as other wise you will have to spend another 500-600k on another guild,players know that this kind of money takes awhile to get & i think it is completely unfair of them to do this.

And that's why you gotta be 100% sure you want the guild name you have.

You can't change your character's name.

You can't change your guild's name.

Life just isn't fair.

Also, why would you invest so much into something if you don't think you'll like it? Next time be sure it's what you really want before committing.

i dont know why other players say no,as it does'nt hurt any one else & has nothing to do with other players,only my members,which by the way dont mind,people do make mistakes in their life.

It's asking from problems imo, you change name, someone takes your old name etc, will pose way more problems

I will not sign this thread do to the fact that it will increase in people selling there Guilds and scamming players by not designating them as leaders. Why should a player be able to buy a guild and a hall for 22k and then sell it to five people for 15k, when kicking them rather than setting them as the leader.

Look at it from a design perspective, some of these things just aren't feasibly changeable with the system that is in place. Same reason why we can't change our names.

I like my guild name. I've created a cape that has been on my characters for quite a long time. During the guild's "active" months I managed to get the guildmates to donate into buying NPCs, though I dished out an absurd amount of money out of my own storage for them. During the second revival, I finally got the last couple of NPCs before the guild completely closed down.

It is now only a friend and I on the list. I have refused offers to join very friendly guilds because I feel a large sense of achievement in having led this wonderful creation.

I created this guild a long time ago. And I created a name I knew I would like. Having a guild is a major commitment, so you should be prepared to name it just the way you want it. The same goes for your character. Don't be haphazard in your methods when you plan on spending a lot of your time in this game. You have to think things through like this.

I would like to change mine but it won't happen as you can't change your char name.

I personally think we should be allowed to change the guild name (character names too but I won't get into that). I mean, it's not like you don't like it at first, the name can just get old after a while, you may want a change of pace/scenery. You can change the cape, why not the name without losing all you've done?

The game isnt about names. leave it and just rape some monsters.

Besides, there's even a real world example of why changing a name should reset everything. (Asus just broke into 3 companies with 3 different names and every employee had their pension reset to 0)
