GW isn't Fear or Crysis or Halo 3.
The graphics aren't, and never will be, perfectly puesdo-realistic, but they are still pretty dang good.
And that blurring in your "example" is pretty exaggerated. Fire does give off "heat" that radiate and distort images like it does in GW (PS, its actually ionized gases being released and burned).

Not to echo 1 Up and 2 Down....but what exactly is that supposed to be?
Where are those pics from? What I'm seeing is a photo and a copy of that photo with a bad photoshop blur/filter effects. What are we missing? Is this just an exaggerated "example" to knock GW graphics?

Seriously there's a lot better things to complain about. Unless you have something constructive to say about the hazards of graphics filters on fake fires I think it's better if we just leave this alone.
