Wait... Does that mean you got fifty points total or what? I don't remember what the exact boss Rep Point tally was to begin with, but I think it was a couple hundred. Are you saing they reduced the points you get for beating a boss, or that they added fifty points to your total haul for beating one? Seems kinda ambiguous to me.

EDIT: Bear in mind here that I'm on vacation and have no access to a GW on this machine. I'm not trying to piss you off or anything; it's actually an honest question.

GWEN bosses have always given bonus points (50 or more, blessing rank might multiply it, not 100% sure about that). Just now it TELLS you that it's giving bonus points for boss kills. Likely why it was overlooked on the patch notes.

Likely why it was overlooked on the patch notes. Exactly. EoTN bosses have always given bonus points, and even more if you have the blessing. But yeah I can see where the confusion's coming from, since they never really said anything. (I like to watch my point count as I'm doing a dungeon lol)

I, for one, didn't know that there was a boss bonus, figured that would come out in hard mode like in Nightfall (or am I mistaken about that also?) but this is nice to know.

I don't know the exact formula used. But my observation tells me that it is similar to SS/LB bonus points in hard mode. I always noticed that killing a boss with low kill count always yield lower points, somewhere between 50-150. Try killing bosses at 200+kill point and you will probably get 200-300+. The most points I got for killing a boss was about 400-500, I think. But that's after clocking 300+kills.

For this reason, I was always try to leave the bosses for last when farming points. Also, you never know when you will get a boss bonus and need to find one within 5 mins.

The exact formula is 50*(Amount of points you'd normally get) + Amount of points you'd normally get. Also affected by Rampage bonus. No idea whether it's affected by that bonus that gives you 10 rep points for every kill.

Seems to be related to the number of monsters killed, and of course rampage bonus will double it if it's active.

at 320+ i was getting 300 points per boss + 5 points from hunt rank 4

I've tested it in the Snowman Dungeon.

Apparently, the bonus multiplies for the number of points you gain per kill.

At least, it did when I beat Freezie.

Rank 2 = 3 Points per kill = 3*50=150
Rank 3 = 4 Points per kill = 4*50=200

Rampage Bonus did NOT double the points.

it's odd, because a friend and I had a strange experience:

after 150-200 or so kills, we fought a boss & I had the boss hunt bonus.
from killing the boss I got 200 points, he got 150 points.

This doesn't make sense... does the boss hunt bonus only give you an extra 50? If not, why didn't it say 350? (since the bonus says you get 200 extra)

The boss bounty is supposed to give +200 Points seperate from the Boss himself.

Rampage Bonus did NOT double the points. Incorrect. You get that, PLUS what you'd get for a normal kill, and BOTH are affected by a rampage bonus. I've been testing this as well.

(since the bonus says you get 200 extra) Mind you, when you go hunt with more players in your groups you get different bonuses from each other. It's all random and different for each person. He may have had a different rank than you as you don't get hunt ranks at the same time necessarily which gave him a bonus which then is different than your bonus which was the boss bounty.
