are you in a guild or not?
if you are than is it PvE based or PvP based?
if it's PvE based you guys can do fun stuff like elite missions and duo/3 man/5 man farming in UW/FoW/SF/etc
if it's PvP based or if you're just tired of all aspects of PvE go do some PvP
start with AB, to also get factions for your guild/alliance as well as the title.
and RA, also for the title.
both of these are low level PvP that are good for starters to get used to PvP. after you feel comfortable in them, and prefferably after you get at least rank 2 gladiator try some TA. rank 2 will allow you to get into some decent PuGs.
if your guild is PvP based you'll have an easier time getting groups for TA.
after you feel comfortable in TA go do some HA and GvG, the later requires a PvP guild though...

Saphrium
Start with AB, then RA, TA, HA and GvG
PvE is for fun and relaxing, nothing challenging there.

You shouldn't leave GW if you haven't at least tried the pvp side of the game (like others above have said before). PvP it is where I found again what I liked the most about the game: Team Play.
Random arenas (RA), Alliance Battles (AB) and Competitive Missions (CM) in Factions are a good start.
Less Team Play there but some organized chaos that gives you the flavor of what it is like to compete against other humans.
Later on you can make your way to more organized pvp like Team arenas (TA) and Heroe's Ascent (HA).
Those can be fun to play if you have a guild or friends to play with. Pugging or starting to get into groups can be a pain though, especially in Heroe's Ascent were people tend think in the simple formular skill = Hero Rank. But it's worth a try.
The Top of it all Guild versus Guild (GvG).
Obviously you need a guild that supports you in that move and i would consider it not the first step into pvp, but the biggest fun of them all...
Good luck having fun,

Timebandit in a way answered your question. Find an interest and pursue it, whatever it may be. If you have no interests in the game, stop playing.
