I am posting (finally) in the forums because I'm quite tired of just sitting around in town. I gave up on PvP a few months ago thanks to a combination of guild drama and seemingly how crazy some people got over losses. As such, I went to PvE and goofed off.
Needless to say, PvE finally got old after beating Hard Mode, and now I am stuck with no guild. I am very much interesting in rejoining the ranks of PvP and pushing my Glad and Hero titles up. Yes...currently those numbers are low, but allow me to provide a bit of background of my 2 years of Guild Wars.
As far as GvG is concerned, I ran with top 100 teams for quite some time, playing with players from EviL occasionally (Shame they are gone). The guild I sat in is long gone I"m sure, but they were called The Laughing Mans Company, and we made top 50 in our prime. And although the name eludes me, I was in an allaince with a guild that made top 10 during the whole Recurring Spike times (No they didn't use it, just giving the time frame).
But HA is a lot different than GvG, and I can't honestly claim to have been in many guilds that regularly claim HoH. I got to rank 3 quickly from running with rank 6-9 players, but was pulled away and kept away because of GvG, and have missed it since.
In terms of GvG, I run midliners the best. Mesmer, Elementalist, Necro, Ranger, Paragon in that order (although it's arguable if Paragons actually take skill to play). Other classes, granted they aren't melee, I can pull off, just not as well.
