Nolani Academy Problem?

I'm not certain this is the right place for this, since it'a about an error, so feel free to have it moved.

I was going through Nolani in Normal Mode just a few minutes ago, and I took the back path (after the scene at the wall, go the opposite side of Rurik, kill two charr groups, and kill the boss)

Anyway, I killed Bonfaaz, and was expecting the mission to end.

Instead, the Horn cutscene played (where Rurik does the little Ascalonian Rain Dance) and I was up on the hill next to Prince Idiot.

I killed all the charr that were around us, and I was surprised to see a lot of new NPCs.

There were some 30 "Ascalonian" both men and women, in the area before the large staircase that leads to Bonfaaz, and upstairs there was King Adelbern and some guards.

You can see the ascalonians on my radar. Well, some of them.

Anybody have any idea why that happened? I did the exact same thing in Hard Mode, and the mission was complete after killing Bonfaaz.

I'm guessing just as you killed Bonfaaz, Rurik reached Stormbringer which eclipsed the mission ending
