Random question: Do Asurans have fur?
Squiver
It's puzzled me slightly, do Asurans actually have fur? At first I always assumed that, being brown, they probably had a fine coating of brown fur covering their bodies. But upon recieving the GWEN manuscript it mentioned them being "Humanoid Creatures" which shook my assumption. One can assume the need for their other physical anomylies, such as their huge black eyes needed for nightly vision in their subterranean home, where there is little to no light. But would fur be necessary, or is it just brown skin?

Some of them have hair on their heads, so presumably they do...

Hmm yeah... You're right... Maybe, then.

They look like rats to me, and rats have some fur, so maybe.

Does it really matter? You would have to skin them anyway if you want to try some serious asuran quisine.
Unless you are just grill person, then, well, they have some hair so you would have to shave corpse anyway.

They remind me of those hideous hairless cats.

Umm... look at your own arms, and legs, and well, other places.
You have fur, in a sense, so they probably do too.

I don't think they have fur like a rat would have. They look something like mole rats, but humanoid and less ugly. And the term humanoid is usually only referring to the number and placement of limbs.

Maybe it's like they do, but they shave!
It's probably like a hygiene thing for them.
You know, some people shave and some people don't, so we have hairy people and non-hairy people! Maybe the asurans are like that!

With his facial hair, Mamp looks like he has fur. Maybe they have really short fuzz all over them that grows out as they age.

I still think Dobby had a three-some with Stitch and a rabbit...
And the result was the Asura.

Its probably a very fine coating of fur over the skin, sort of like a dog's belly... If you have a dog you'll know how that is.

Nah.
Asurans are based on goblins/gremlins. Not exactly known for their hair.

Yeah, all the images I've seen I don't really see this "fur" people are talking about. They do have top-knots of hair.
Maybe there are a few that are just hairer? Asura could be just like people and have unique variations in their anatomy (more or less fur/hair).
