Charr battle plans.

WHere do these drop? And how often? I'm curious about the quests for them that I've been hearing about.

I have a set that dropped during the preview weekend. I think it was just out of Sifhalla but can't remember for sure, might've been elsewhere. Haven't had any drop since preview, so not very often though they may drop now they've enabled the quest with them. Glad I hung onto them just in case lol.

Yeah. Anet implemented a feature that only works if you saved a random drop from the preview weekend. Epic.

The one and only drop I got was during the preview weekend and the Charr outside Eye of the North I think. (The actual outpost, to avoid confusion.)

Found some in the Charr Homeland a few hours ago.

I found one today, but can't get the quest to do it. I've decoded them, so I know it's for Dragon's Gullet. Is it bugged or not completely implemented or something else?

They've been dropping since the update for the decoder.

I got one that evening in Sachnoth valley.

These really do seem to be a rather rare drop.

I spent quite a bit of time yesterday clearing Sacnoth. I cleared it totally four times. (around 1200 kills or so) but didnt even get one battle plans drop.

I wonder if the drop ratio is working right, especially as these are not a tradable item according to the official wiki.

Sorry Lyra he may have been responding to me saying I got a set during preview. Glad they're dropping again though

Got a couple today. Decoder would not decode them.

After you decode them you take them Captain Langmar he instantly transports you to the place and takes your decoder. So be ready when you talk to him its a big battle. You can't start over. You only get one try per plans. They drop from Charr in Dalada for sure, we got one there.

anyway, my last one was also during the preview, from a charr in Blood Washes Blood.

Don't kill me...I got one of those from the fourth Charr I killed my first time into Charr lands. >_>; -Hides-

But yeah, from what I hear they can be a bit difficult to drop sometimes.

The plans don't drop anywhere specific or at any specific time, which is really stupid. Like all GW things, it's all random.
