Add gamer points to norn tournament/dwarven boxing/polymock

The rewards suck right now, they're not worth playing. Adding a few gamer title track points for winning would help a little bit.

Totally agreed. At least there need to be gamer points available more often than just a few times a year.

Gamer is PvP title, unless Anet decides to add PvP version for these minigames (highly unlikely for Norn tournament, polymock is possibilty) so /notsigned.

Rollerbeetle racing isn't really PvP, got gamer points for that, dragon nest not really PvP, got points for that

Last time I played those games, I was playing against other players not AI. Player versus Player, it is simple wording and self explanatory.

sigend, gamer points must be aquireable all over the year, not ever only on dumb events, this takes simple much to much time, until anyone will ever max the gamer title, when you can make only several times per year some litle points ...

So signed for making all minigames playable 24/7 365/Y and letting them give us gamer points for wins.

Example:

Dwarven Boxing: 5 points per Win
Polymock: 5 Points per win
Norn Arena: 10 Points per Win
Roller Beetle Race:
1st place: 10 Points
2nd: 7 Points
3rd: 5 points
4th: 3 points


And then it would be really awesome, when Roller Beetle Races gets IMPROVED ...

This Minigame needs more tracks, more places where you can make a Race, then only the ugly boring horrible one, that exists yet only
Thsi minigame shold have like 18 different tracks which are all over the GW World...

then it would even make sense to make Roller Beetle Race World Championships or Race Tourneys, where players could earn then really good sums of gamer points, when they win the championships.

1: "Snake Hill Drive" (somewhere in Kryta i believe) Standart (the one that exists since RBR's exist)

2: "Junundu Wurm Terror" (Nightfall Race Track in near of the Bone Palace)

3: "Downtown Maze" (Cantha Race Track > Kaineng City)

4: "Highway to Hell" (Prophecies Race Track > Fire Ring Island

5: "Circuit of Divinity" (Proph RT > Divinity Coast)

6: "Storming Jade Sea" (Cantha RT > Gyala Breed...)

7: "Scary Stoned Forest" (Cantha RT > somewhere near Haus zu Heltzer)

8: "Spider Web Djungle" (Proph RT > Maguuma Djungle)

9: "Shiverpeak's Horn" (Proph RT > North or south Shiverpeaks)

10: "Presearing Memories" (EotN RT > Charr Homelands)

11: "Great Dwarf Mountain" (EotN RT >far shiverpeaks)

12: "The Lion's Pit" (Proph RT: Lion's Ark)

13: "Royal Chambers" (Nightfall RT: Vaabi somewhere)

14: "The Fortress" (Proph RT: fortress)

15: "Shing Jea Courtjard" (Cantha RT: ....)

this would be for example 18 awesome race tracks all over the world of GW
on whihc RBR's could be done, because making this game ever on the same race track gets very quuick boring...

Polymock/boxing/Norn tournament rewards are worthless now. These games have to be more rewarding

I think the minigames should have a PvP mode that gives them gamer points, like Norn Tourney could easily be a random 1v1 matchup, in fact they all could, and then play out using the rules of the games.

Then make PvP versions of them.

And enable a 'minigame land' somewhere, like... like the Realm of Dwayna! Where you can enter and join minigames all year long!

See? Easy.

GW:EN mingames give "Gamer" points: I'm a little split on this one. It would be great, but that title really does seem to be a PvP title. Perhaps a diffrent "Gamer"-like title for these games?

Hmmm, minigame land? I like it. I don't know about the additional rollerbeetle tracks. It's a great idea, but would take a lot of programming time which I don't see happening right now.

I think the gamer points should be restricted to PvP competitions only, so I'd love to see pvp versions of polymock and boxing which I honestly thought would be the case when I read the pre-release descriptions of GW:EN. I was a bit disappointed to find out they were PvAI only.

Races would be a fun idea (but again might take too much programming time). You talk to a "race official" in town and you are then placed in a random explorable area (free of enemies) with 4-8 other players. When the official says "Go!" you have to race to the next zone portal. The winner gets gamer points.

For example, you are in Lion's Arch and you talk to the race official. You are moved to a random explorable zone in Kryta and given a destination town to run to. The first player there wins. Mapping out automatically disqualifies you. Could be set up with your own skillset or replaced with a special set of race skills like the rollerbeetle races.

i really consider the gamer title a pvp title as well.

Erm... "Gamer" is a PvP title. Dwarven Boxing, Norn Fight Tournament, and Polymock are all PvE bouts, and already give rewards for a title.

However, I see no reason why we can't have PvP on all these minigames, with added gamer.
